      On 6-2-2020 we had laminate flooring put in our home, by World of Floors. We have put our home on the market to sell and retire. But the flooring failed the buyer inspection.The reason was flooring is buckling and coming apart in all areas of our home. This flooring has a lifetime warranty if installed correctly , which it was not installed per manufacturer instructions. I would assume that a professional flooring company would of did the job correctly , but they did not , within 3 years the flooring is coming apart . We paid them **** dollars to do the job. To find out why the floor failed we call a state certified flooring inspector.He came out and did inspection and pictures of why flooring failed as follows.1. Flooring must be installed on a flat level floor , they did no testing for this, they just installed it . Floor was not leveled .2. This type of flooring must be able to float and expand , they nailed the flooring to the quarter round on the wall , flooring can not float . This caused the flooring to FAIL. I contacted World of Floors about this with the inspection report at the location on ********. . They offered to do some patchwork repairs to repair this problem . I said no it is the whole house needs replaced there is no repairs . Point being , if they cant get it right when i paid them **** , I dont think they will get it right having to repair it with no pay. I paid for a new floor correctly installed not patchwork repairs . I will get someone that knows how to do flooring correctly and install a new floor again , so i can get my home back on the market . They owe me **** + inspector of 325 would settle this claim at this point.
