My mom and I in trusted level one law to help settle our bills in almost 2 years only 3 things were supposedly paid . We never received anything confirming this . The first year we put about ****** in where did all that money go it didnt go to paying our bills. We signed up for this program because we were in financial stress and now we find our self in more stress due to the fact that most if not all of those bills were not settled and we are out all that money that we worked so hard for. We trusted Level One Law to help us consolidate our debt and pay things off starting in June 2023. Over a year later, and 9K+ dollars paid to the company, nothing was negotiated, settled,or paid off despite numerous conversations about concerns and when items would be paid. The company drafted a letter in November 2024,informing us they wouldn't be able to represent us any longer due to the inability to collect fees while under lawsuit. We didn't receive notification until AFTER all our creditors did through letters drafted on December 9th. We now are receiving notifications of lawsuits being filed against us. I researched the company and found them through the ******* WEBSITE! We only received a little over 5k back and still nothing has been done.Initial Complaint

This is a debt consolidation company. I have been putting money in my acct monthly since Jan 2024. They have done nothing in trying to pay off some of my bills. Can't get a hold of anyone, I have a lawsuit with one of my creditors and level one is supposed to be handling it, but I can't get a hold of anyone to find out. September 2023 I received information, perhaps from the mail on debt settlement through Level One Law. I have about a dozen accounts that I included on the debt settlement. An agent came to my office, took my information, had me sign a contract and then left. I was told to stop paying the accounts and eventually I was to direct the creditors to Level One Law. After several months I attempted to contact Level One but couldn't get a live person. I was given a settlement offer of a 30% for my *** account so I took it. ********************** One had me deposit $810 per month so I reached out to *************** where the money was being deposited. When I did the math of how much was deposited it was apparent they had removed around $3,200. They are a business and I expected fees of perhaps a $1,000 to create the account, but they never settled any debts or even spent any time talking with any of my creditors. Essentially all they did was have someone drive out to my office, sit with me for an hour while I filled out the contract and wrote out my debts. Then they put it on a spreadsheet so I could access it on the computer. That's it. Nothing else. I believe I'm entitled to $2,000 in a refund. Level One Law is also wrapped up in a class-action lawsuit. They were court ordered to stop taking money from the accounts in January 2024. I should be thanking my lucky stars as they probably wouldn't have just stopped at taking out $3,200 but maybe close to all of it like some clients have complained about. If they aren't helping with debt collection what are they getting paid for? Is this all just a scam? When I attempt to reach them they provide phone numbers via the emails... but when you call the number is a fake number and disconnects immediately OR their main number... it routes you to voicemail. I have left multiple voicemails and no call backs. I feel their emails are used to establish they tell you to call and then when you can't call back they can say.. Level one law was representing me to negotiate settlements with creditors. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of and due to being sued for fraud I was dropped as a client mid program and now am left with lost money to them, low credit, and to call all the creditors and clean up the mess they left me. My problem is that i have been paying $750 a month for over a year for Level One Law to relieve me of my debt. My monies was put into a global account and my wages was garnished from one of the companies that they were supposed to be in negotiating with. I had to call global to try and retrieve my money. They claim a check will be issued that i havent received but more so i cant understand how they can withdraw money from my account and not put it back. I enrolled in their debt resolution program Oct 2022. They collect absorbent up front fees and don't deliver on promises. I settled more of my debt on my own then they were willing or able to since I enrolled in the program. To date they have collected $8,927.25 in service fees on top of a $995 retainer and $1485 in legal administrative fees, and they have not settled a single debt. On Nov 16, 2024 I received a notification email from Level One Law that due to being sued by the ************************************ and the Attorneys General of seven states for taking unlawful advance fees, they will no longer represent me in settling my remaining debt, but do not have any plans to refund even a portion of the service fees. I would like a full refund of the fees paid for services that were not rendered and if refused to be included in any class action lawsuit to come due to their deceptive business practices.Initial Complaint

I have been making monthly payments since June 2023, totaling $723.32 per month until November 2024, which equals $12,296. However, the global holding shows only $7,000.Furthermore, I have been sued by a creditor, and there are currently four lawsuits against me. When I contacted the company, they assured me they could help. However, they have since informed me that they have closed their business, leaving me without **************, I have no idea how to handle these lawsuits. I feel I have been cheated, and the company is responsible for ruining my credit and putting me in this situation. I am being ignored, and I feel like I have been taken advantage of by a group of legal professionals who are harming innocent American citizens.I request that the law and enforcement agencies investigate this matter, as these people should not be allowed to operate in society, where they are robbing innocent people.I am a victim of this situation, and it is having a serious impact on my life and well-being.Request for Investigation and Legal Action Given the circumstances, I respectfully request that relevant authorities, including law enforcement and financial regulators, investigate the actions of the company. Their behavior constitutes not only a breach of contractual obligations but also potentially fraudulent conduct, and they should not be permitted to operate within society where they exploit and defraud innocent individuals.
