September 29th I went online to buy used tires and found tire agent. They do a 90 same as cash so I did application. No where it stated a $40 app fee you don't see that til the very end which I didn't sign. Uown and Tire Agent are Crooks. They ran my card 4 times for a *****. Uown is the finance company. **************** is very rude! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANYBusiness Response

our processing fee is usually detailed in the first page of the lease agreement. The amount changes depending on each state and from customer to customer, we cannot advertise one set amount. The consumer can read this lease agreement and decide whether to proceed with the purchase. Your application was expired per your request and any authorization charges will drop off of your bank statement.

I am rejecting this response because: You never see the lease agreement til when you get ready to purchase after you give your card information. It did mention they will authorize your card for 1 cent but they authorize my card 4 times on Sept 29 went to bank today they said it was authorize again today. When I was approved that's where the $40 app fee should have been so I could see before going straight to purchase. Plain wrong deceiving scammers should be shame to do this. I will write reviews everywhere people need to know they're scammers and Tire Agent slso scammers.

Again, these should fall off as these are just card authorization charges. If you'd like to submit a statement, we can review that on our end. The processing fee for most customers is due with their first payment, this is simply the way our program is and you are under no obligation to continue on with the purchase or lease agreement as you have already done. I havent heard anything about this since I put an order in and never received anything. I even called to tell the company that I never received the tires and Im constantly getting emails and phone calls. Felt really harassed for awhile for something I never receivedBusiness Response

We unfortunately do not have any record of communication via phone or email advising us of this issue. We reached out to Tire Agent on behalf of this complaint and they also do not have any correspondence regarding the merchandise. The tracking information provided by Fed Ex/Tire agent indicates the items were delivered on 8/21/21(attached). Since over a year has lapsed since the delivery date, we are not able to conduct a proper investigation on this. Is there any other information you can provide so that we can help resolve this?

I got double charged plus a $15 late fee because they didnt take the payment out September 9th. Im on autopay and theres always money in my account. Called and got told my bank declined the payment. Lies. Always money in there so no reason it would be declined. I called and talked to someone that didnt care to hear anything I had to say. Asked for a supervisor but was told one wasnt available and they would call me back. Still waiting on the call. Now I woke up to another payment taken out and my payments dont come out until Fridays. Would have been nice to receive a call off my payment didnt go through. Im starting to think for the next 12 months, money will come out my account whenever they feel like taking it. Your 9/2 scheduled payment returned, on 9/9 (as shown on your statement) the reprocessing system attempted to draft the payment due for 9/2, the regular due date of 9/9 and a $15 fee. Since the 9/9 was also not successful, the credit card attempted on 9/15. We understand your frustration, the $15 fee has been applied to your payment due for 9/16, only a partial payment is due as of now. We would recommend moving the due date out 1 or 2 days from your pay date and switching fully to a credit card so that payments process instantly.

Made a purchase with Tire Agent using Uown as the leasing company. Signed purchase agreement and payment plan with Uown. Tire Agent canceled order, several weeks later, Uown takes payment. No merchandise was received from merchant. Called Uown and spoke with a representative and was instructed to send documents verifying cancelation of order. Sent email to documents department Uown from TireAgent of order cancelation. Spoke with another Uown representative and was told that there was nothing they can do to close the lease. Instructed to call Tire Agent, they confirmed canceled order. Told by Uown the lease is still open and they cannot close it. I'm essentially just giving them money, the agreement I signed is void due to me not ever receiving any merchandise.Business Response

Account just opened, and I submitted my 1st payment due 9/1/22, early, $300, not $30, asking it to be applied to future payments. When we initially applied, I stated correctly my payments due date, based upon our financial situation, and the company has attempted to pull another payment. They knew full well out income, source, and dates. Weekly should be small payment amounts, and I paid $300, towards the loan. In an illegal attempt to force more $ out of me, they claim they cannot fix it since I'm now past due! We did this to build credit as well, so now they're doing nothing to assist. Horrible service, no customer service was not satisfactory even, and we will NEVER USE this company again! If you ask for $30 a week and I pay $300, you are attempting to FORCE additional payments out of disabled veteran family.Business Response

I ask company to stop from this illegal attemp at attaching many accounts."90 days payoff" has been used by many to NO avail, this practice ALL together is fraudulent in handling, by this company, as multiple reviews state the same issues, I am reaching out to attorneys for class actions that can be pursued, as well. The Company, Uown Leasing advertises a 90 day same as cash option, then, illegally makes unauthorized ACH bank withdrawals causing transaction to be declined due to unrecognized debit(s) then Uown charges a illegal re-instatement fee to consumers, including *****************************. The company knowingly engages in bait and switch business practices, as evidence by the hundreds of BBB Complaints virtually identical to ********************************* complaint.Uown has refused to accept my pay-off payment of $301.98, instead, Uown has attempted to extort a $100.00 re-instatement fee from me. In addition, Uown, claimed, without written proof to support its claim, that on September 2, 2022, I, *****************************, was 79 days past due on a bi-weekly payment scheduled, when I asked how I was ****** weeks (79 days) past due, the representative could not explain this to me, instead, now claimed, I was current, even though Uown, just informed me that I wasn't. This company is a scam ripping off consumers with illegal bait and switch business practices, and fraudulent ACH bank transfers without consumers knowledge or consent. Uown debits multiple payments the same day, then charges bogus late fees to extort an unlawful ("Re-instatement ") fee.I can provide proof from bank records and a sworn affidavit to support my Complaint against this predatory company, Uown Leasing. we understand your frustration. To clarify - your 6/15 due date payment declined *** on autopay which generated an *** fee. The payment was paid later that same day, but the fee was outstanding which is why the account was showing 79 days past due incorrectly. Our company does offer a reinstatement fee for the loss of the 90 day option and the agent misinformed you due to the *** fee not being paid. This was not intentional and a supervisor attempted to reach out and explain this. The account is closed and considered paid in full as long as the final payment of $301.98 clears. I am rejecting this response because:I have reviewed the Uown Leasing response to my Complaint and reject the company's response as deceptive and misleading to the BBB.
First, Uown withdrew money from my account without my knowledge or consent. I have attach a inquiry from my bank showing Uown made 2 fifteen dollar withdrawals both on the same day they claim my account was 79 days past due.
Indeed, besides that response from Uown being utterly ridiculous, nothing Uown Leasing tells the BBB makes any sense. In any event, it is clear that my bank returned those unauthorized payments back to my account, this hardly constitutes a NSF.
Uown Leasing is both a predatory business with unethical business practices, stealing from credit consumers, then, when they are confronted, throw thier account representatives under the bus. For example, in thier response, Uown Leasing claimed a supervisor tried to contact me, however, in reality, the representative is on tape telling me the supervisor was busy and could not come to the phone.
Even more interesting, Uown Leasing could not explain to me how the account that was allegedly 79 days past due, "wallah" like a carnival magician's act, the account was magically, now current.Finally, the BBB need only look to thier own data base of complaints regarding Uown Leasing to validate my Complaint against Uown Leasing. This company needs to be held accountable for thier illegal and unethical business practices, for this reason I do not accept the response from Uown Leasing, and i am currently pursuing a class action lawsuit against Uown Leasing a company d its parent company, 777 Partners, LLC.

I am rejecting this response because:As previously stated in ********************************* response, Uown Leasing is a predatory business that intentionally engages in the unethical and criminal practice of stealing money ("unauthorized bank draft(s)) from credit consumers, including ******************************
For example, Uown Leasing without my consent, and in breach of contract, was authorized to debit a single payment of $22.48, instead, Uown Leasing took (2) payment(s) from my checking account, totaling $44.96, since ***************************** never agreed to the debit of that amount, this was theft from a banking financial institution with the specific intent by Uown Leasing to defraud a financial institution.
Now, at the Eleventh hour, Uown Leasing desperately attempts to put forth the ridiculous defense that somehow, its actions were somehow a mistake, nevermind the litany of virtually identical complaints of unauthorized debit(s), recieved by the BBB.
Indeed, Uown Leasing response(s), to the BBB, tlo date are miserably pathetic, and defies even the most basic explanation.
Again, as an example, in its response, Uown Leasing takes the off ramp, and avoids explaining to the BBB, why it took two payment(s) on the same day, since Uown Leasing recieved those payment(s) without consent, or authorization, this cannot possibly be an NSF event.
If that failure wasn't enough, Uown Leasing tells on its ownself by acknowledging the fact, that the financial institution in question, returned the (2) fifteen dollar payment(s) stolen by Uown Leasing, when it determined the payment(s) were fraudulent, again, returning funds back to an account, does not raise to the level of NSF.
Finally, as previously stated, *****************************, then, and does now, reject the response from Uown Leasing, and fully and unequivocally intends to move foward with a class action lawsuit against Uown Leasing, 777 Partners, LLC, its agents, and officers.
THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER COMMUNICATION WITH UOWN LEASING BEFORE THIS ACTION IS TAKEN. ******************************** REQUEST THE BBB FILE IN THIS MATTER, NOW BE CLOSED.

uown leasing is charging me and refuses to give me my money back for a phone that I do not have never had. This is the worst company never purchase or use them for anything, they are rude I have explained to them several times I don't have a phone with them please stop charging my account and they keep charging it for something I don't have. Have made **** dollars worth of payments and have never missed a payment until last week. I can noonger afford to keep paying another **** on top of the **** I have already paid. Asked to settle my debt which is around 120 more dollars was told I missed the 90 day payoff window. Would like to get this resolved but I just cannot afford to keep paying almost 100 dollars weekly. The signed lease agreement is for a 13 month duration for 56 payments of $84.04. The 90 day same as cash is just an option within the lease and expired on 7/4/2022. This is not a predatory lending practice as we are abiding by the contract. The full contract balance is outlined and explained on page 3 (attached). If you are in need of a temporary hardship, our account management team can help you set arrangements. The account can also be paid off early at a discount of up to 30% at any time until the end of the 13 months as long as it is in good standing. I had a fraudulent account opened in my name for two different amounts I've had several interactions with the customer service trying to get them to stop calling me I filed a complaint about the fraudulent charges I just want them to stop calling me and to remove me from their accounts.Business Response
