Rep from Merchants Association Collection Division, Inc. called me abut a past due TECO ****. I told them I had not lived there since 1998. My ex who owned the property recently moved and for whatever reason the bill is past due. If the rep had been smart, she would have asked me for the contact info for the property owner. The rep could have also referred to the Hillsborough Property Records database and gotten the contact information for the property seller. TECO also was negligent in not getting the property seller's forwarding address when the service was transferred.
Poor service from both entities.

This is a mental torture.. How can somebody send me a collector bills If I have no dues left. I spoke to to hospital and my insurance and confirmed . These people keep sending me collector bills inspite of speaking that I do not have any dues. And earlier I did not know about these fraud so when they asked me about my personal details I have provided. Which was my biggest mistake. Never trust them. These are fraud people and want to make money. I am going to find out the way where to file a complaint against these people.Merchants Association Collection Division Inc. Response
