    On 01/07/2025, at 12:44PM, I placed an order at the Checkers in ***************************************************************************** They told me to pull to the front and theyll come right out with my food. I waited for about 10 minutes before I stepped outside. There was already people that had been waiting for their food for up to 30 minutes before me. I waited for a total of 40 minutes. Nobody came to the window. Nobody gave us reassurance, nobody looked at us, nobody to speak to about our order. I ended up having to leave without my food or my money back.

    Member **************.Your app rerouted my order to a location I wasn't even near.The order on my account on *********** on the 25th of August is incorrect. It should have been placed at the ** Broadway address as the 2nd order was. I'm still owed a refund for the first order. I've been unable to reach someone with a pulse.I first tried using your website by following the prompts for resolving order errors through your app. The email I eventually received from you only mentioned **** eats and nothing about your app.The email said to try social media. I then tried ********. I was told it was being worked on. Then I was told to call.I'm done begging for help. I want the first order refunded and a $20 credit on my account since it has taken this much effort to get my money back.

    I ordered from Checkers at ********************************************************** and received the horrible service they are known for. I waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes with MY app order only for the en to say come to the window to get it with a nasty attitude. I asked for a refund and was told I would get one. I called the customer service and was told the location has to speak with me for a refund which isnt going to happen. This store is run by an older man with a very bad attitude and his workers have the same attitude and are just as slow and nasty. When I complained about the service before their exact words were please dont tell corporate we get in trouble . I just want my money back for food I never received and the refund that was never given.

    Purchased unsatisfactory food. I asked for a refund. As in returned the food at drive thru immediately. Money was taken anyway. Filed complaint. No one answers from that area so refund cannot be issued. Refiled complaint. No one answers manager contact number incorrect, store location has never answered phone. Had to drive back to ******** just to get wrong contact info. Still have my $32 even though I didn't receive service. Disgusted. The first receipt is the purchase. 2nd receipt is the supposed refund. She says she took off payment info. But I was still charged.

    Checker's location was ************************************* for the amount of $54.06 on Friday July 5, 2024. 

    Code on bank transaction says Checkers C256 Ft. Lauderdale FL

    y hazard and what we were served would by no means met the ***'s requirements of safe and sanitary food. We want our money back for this disaster of an experience.

    I do apologize for any inconvenience that you had. Normally the coupons go to the e-mail that you entered. When you filled out the survey. I'm not sure what happened. But I would like to give you a free complimentary meal. On us. So next time you visit checkers. Just please ask for the General Manager or the Assistant Manager to help you receive your complimentary meal. Please just print out this e-mail to receive your small complimentary meal.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I went into the restaurant when it happened. They refused to let me speak to a manager or owner. They REFUSED to come outside to look at the potholes or my car damage. They also LIED & said they were a corporate store .NOT a franchise location. They handed me a bag & said that I should call the 800- number on the bag. I should speak to corporate
    His excuse of why he fixed the potholes does not excuse the fact that the potholes existed. He of course now admits that the potholes were there and he had to fix them. It was fixed AFTER my car was damaged. His wild theories of how it happened and me being a trespasser is outrageous. His lies of culpability is also irrelevant. His admitted potholes where there. The damage happened to my car. I do not have to prove I ate there. He has admitted he allowed potholes to get so bad on his property. MUTIPLE potholes I might add. He did not fix as they occurred.  He owes me $326 I expect payment

    This complaint which so called customer is submitting  is not valid.

    We had normal winter wear and tear of parking lot. And Every Year we patch  parking lot and building. We painted building also at same time. So if we patch something doesn't mean that pot holes were ***** to damage Tyre and Rim. Customer  could be trespasser  because he unable to provide receipt of purchase.i don't see any concrete proof that could damage his Tyre and Rim.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This owner obvious does not understand his responsibility as a business owner or how the law works.
    1) He lied .I did go inside to speak to them They said they were a Corporate location. Gave me a bag with Corporate ***************** I called them. They said he was a franchise.
    2)You do not make a police report from private property.
    3) I am speaking directly to Corporate because he as of this date has REFUSED to Call, Text or deal with this on any level. It is also why I had to contact the The Better Business Bureau ( which I would like to give him a bad rating)
    4)He admits the potholes were there. Admits he knew about them. Admits he did not fix them as they occurred. Makes up this excuse that he fixes everything at once (Conveniently after my complaint) But admits the potholes were there when I had the damage to my car.
    5) Corporate told me to go back & take pictures of the repaired potholes. He came outside & screamed at me. I took his picture so he could not say it was not him. More importantly again know the law. He was outside. In public view anyone can take anyones picture.
    6) I clearly show the before (potholes on his location) and after (that he fixed all the potholes) pictures of his location. That is all that is needed.
    7) He does not actually understand the process. It is NOT harassment to talk to a corporation about a franchisee. It is also not harassment to report the person to agencies that are there to protect consumers from a person/business who refuses to deal with his responsibilities.
    8) I never threatened him. He threatened ME!! .That is why I took his picture!!
    9) He never MET with me .He came outside to yell at me when he saw I was taking pictures as I was instructed to by His Corporate Headquarters .He blames everyone but himself.
    10)I sent BBB the pictures.( Also sent to Corporate)  He said he would pay if he saw the pictures. You have that in writing. MAKE HIM PAY !!

    I am not accepting anything so called customer mentioning. He is basically harrowing me as a owner by calling so many departments  in Checkers corporate. He personally threatened me for putting bad name of mine spreading all over corporate. I was actually very closed to file police complaint regarding without my permission taking pictures of my premise and taking picture of mine which is illegal and subject to file complaint to police.

    He has no record of any Buying and accidental pics where his car damaged. No accident or police complaint. He has nothing to prove. Just playing with stories and Harrasment. I am totally rejecting this so called scam.

    He never mentioned Corportae that he met with me personally but keep pressuring  corporate for any money he can get.

    As a business owner we work hard to survive in business. I asked him if he want to settle this on consumer court    I am ready for that. But still he is playing strategy of pressuring corporate.

    So I am rejecting his claim.

    Outside of my restaurants , there are many pot holes which could damage anyone car. But in my store I got no other complaint but him for pot holes.

    Show me accidental spot pictures. Any accidental report.Any police report. I will pay him. I don't want to see his invoice of repair.thats not justified.

    Complaint ID: ******** The last message I got Checkers said they would send me a check for $326. I did what they asked me to do. They have not. Please communicate with them that they said in writing they would. Now I see for a second time 8-17-2024 This case has been closed.it should NOT be until I get the money. They can send the check to ********************************* PO ******************************** OR I WILL GO THERE AND PICK IT UP AT THEIR LOCATION IF THEY WANT ME TO. But as of now I have Nothing and zero communication from anyone. Please advise me.

    In May 2024, I went to two different Checker's locations. The first was ************************************** to redeem a reward under my account ************** for a free Big ****** or Mothercruncher with no purchase necessary. When I scanned my reward barcode in the app and gave my telephone number connected to this account, the cashier said they saw no reward. Despite the app saying this. The second visit was May 15, 2024 at location ********************************************************************* to redeem a birthday reward for free funnel cake fries with no purchase. Once again, despite scanning my rewards barcode and providing my phone number the cashier could not see any active rewards. I called customer service on May 20th and they gave me a case #*******. No follow up or rewards were received. I called back on June 24th 2024, still no one has attempted to resolve my issues. At this point, I'm entitled to entire meals as compensation for the runaround I have received from this company.
