I had an appointment with **************** in April. I arrived 15 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment which was 10:00a.m. I was asked to pay my Co-pay of $25.00 immediately. I paid this and proceeded to wait an hour and a half. At that time, I asked the receptionist when I would be seen, and she said "soon". After waiting another 15minutes, I told her I would need to leave and reschedule. I asked about my Co-pay and she said it would be applied to my next appointment. I did schedule another appointment, but then my insurance company did not approve the appointment. I called ******************** office, and asked that my Co-pay be refunded. They assured me that they would notify the accounting ***** and I would receive a credit on my debit card in 3 to 4 days. That never happened. Called the office, and I was told on two occasions that accounting would refund it. Still never happened. I called accounting, and was told that they could not refund it.....that too much time had passed. By this time, it was ***** and accounting said they had never received the request. They said they would call the office, and **************** would issue a check himself. Since then, I have called the office EIGHT times. Spoke to ******* most times. I was told that she would handle the refund. Each time it has been a different story with *******.....the office is out of control, **************** knows but hasn't written the check, they have a new office manager, more excuses that **************** knows but hasn't written the check, the excuses have been endless. This is not a lot of money, but it is MY money, and this doctor is choosing not to refund my $25.00. I will also make my insurance company aware of this. It is not the first time that I have been to his office, and had to wait two hours. They book several different patients for the same appointment time. VERY unprofessional staff, and the doctor DOES NOT CARE!
