I originally reach out to Cat Haven Rescue in December 2022 about a blind cat I rescued needing immediate assistance. The property the blind cat was found in was demolished by Pasco county as it was a safety hazard. Cat Haven Rescue posted the blind cats story along with my full name and personal contact information to a public page. At first I was upset, but seeing as how the goal was to find a ****** for the blind cat that could fit her needs, I didn't get too upset about the situation until a bunch of random people began contacting me (In regards to the cat and spam). One individual stated she could ****** the blind cat while I was communicating with Cat Haven Rescue in regards to prepping the adoption paperwork. I did notify the Rescue that the ****** would be the new contact for the blind cat was in her possession. The ****** decided she loved the blind cat so much they decided to keep her and pay out of pocket for all the medical expenses/resources needed. I reached back out to Cat Haven Rescue 1/9/2023 in regards to a female kitten located from the same property. ************** refused to relay her intentions and refused to help the kitten because the blind cat was successfully (unintentionally) rehomed and the new ****** never informed the Rescue of their intentions. *********************** commented about the "ghosting" aspect on the fosters end then proceed to perform such an act towards me. When I brought the situation to Ms. ****** attention she began acting unprofessional and making obscure comments such as "We are Volunteers and don't need your abuse (message chain between me and ************** are attached)." If this is how the organization runs their business, Cat Haven Rescue should not have a license as they dismiss the purpose and intentions of the organizations primary goal (help reduce the stray population and minimize diseases). This form of conduct is unprofessional and requires proper investigation to verify I am not the first to encounter this issue.
