I, ********* ******** am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Valerieos Auto Sales, located at  On February 7, 2025, I purchased a 2019 Mazda 3, and what should have been an exciting moment turned into a frustrating ordeal.

During the test drive, aside from a broken windshield that was to be fixed, the car seemed fine. However, after putting down $2,500, I encountered significant issues. The key provided did not work, and after switching it, the car still required the key fob to be pressed against the start button, which is not typical for this vehicle. I was informed that the car battery had been replaced due to issues with the original, which raised red flags.

After leaving, I experienced further problems, including an unresponsive key and a tire pressure warning light. On February 8, 2025, the doors would not unlock, forcing me to find alternative transportation to work. When I called Valerieos, I was told there was nothing they could do, leaving me feeling helpless.

Despite my efforts to gain access to the car, including popping the trunk, the vehicle still did not recognize the key. By February 11, 2025, it was in anti-theft mode, rendering it completely inaccessible. I had to report the situation to the police, but even with their assistance, the car remained unresponsive.

After calling a locksmith, I managed to have the car unlocked, but I was informed that none of the lights were functioning, and it wouldn’t start. When I reached out to Valerieos again on February 12, I was met with refusal to assist or cover the repairs, insisting I pay out of pocket for issues that arose immediately after my purchase.

I request immediate assistance in resolving these issues, as well as compensation for the substantial inconvenience and financial loss I have endured. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,
    **********

    To whom it may concern,
    We apologize for any inconvenience
this may have caused, unfortunately the vehicles are sold as is. Attach is the
copy sign by customer and our seller. We did give Ms. ******* a 30-day warranty
that covers only motor and transmission, where she pays 50% parts and 50%
labor. We did replace the battery on the 2019 Mazda even though it clearly
states on the buyers’ guide that it’s not covered. The issue with the key is
something that we don’t cover. We did provide the second key to them to see if
that made a difference. How does a customer demand help after they have family members
coming here at a business acting like fools and yelling racial slurs and
threats?. Ms. ******* is asking for a solution; we gave it to her. We told her
to take the car to Mazda and have a diagnostic done and to let us know what the
issue was. We were willing to help her with that but at this point we are going
to follow our SOLD AS IS agreement. Attach is the document where it states that
there is no refund and all sales are final, signed by her and the seller.  Thank you for your time and other questionsor
concern please feel free to contact us via email [email protected] or
    give us a call ************

On June 10th, I went to Valerios Auto sales to buy a car. I put down 1300$ for a 2012 Nissan Murano. Only having it for 2 days, I went and got a diagnostic ran & a tune up at Tires Plus just for another eye on how it drove, in which they gave me a electronic email on everything that was wrong with the car including the car needed a Engine Air/Cabin/Fuel filter, which I took back to Valerios for confirmation and they had me buy the filters from AutoZone, but after that the car ran worse, for example, I tried to drive on the highway the car completely cut off, my 5 month old was in the car as well, resulting me having to leave it on the side of the highway road.. the next morning, it had to be jump started in which it did crank, so i drove it straight to Valerios confronting them about the issue, in which the mechanic then drove the car himself, and said that it was only a transmission flush/fluid that was needed by appointment only, instead of trying to fix it right then and there. On the appointment day, which was June 24th, 2024 i went and bought 4 qts of transmission fluid that they requested and left the car to be worked on.Only for the front desk to call me and say that it's the entire transmission that needs to replaced. Now, they did offer a deal that if i gave an extra 300$ plus the 544$ for my tag and tax they would order the transmission, In the mist of me taking the car to them on multiple occasions, I was told that if the issue couldn't be resolved they would work on trying to put me in a replacement, in which i asked if instead of me dealing with the car issue, could i just be put in another vehicle, they then refused. Leaving me the only option paying more money on the car. I then went about asking for the actual owner to the dealership, they refused to give the number, not only that, they refused to let me drive the car off the lot stating it would only "mess up the car even more" leaving me no choice but to gather my things and find another way home.

I went to Tallahasse, FL in February of 2023 to purchase a car from Valerio’s. I didn’t have cash, so I ended up having to go to Walmart to get a money order of $2200 the price ***** told me, of the 2016 Hyundai Sonata. I did not leave with my car although I got the money order, because when I came back ***** said she was closed after I told her I was on my way back. I had to come back the next morning, and when I left with my car not even 10 mins of me leaving out the tire blew and I had to purchase another one a few mins out of Tallahassee. Not even a month of me having the carI had multiple problems with the vehicle and I let ***** know and I even offered to give the car back. Instead ***** insisted that I keep it, and she would pay whatever and have it tooken from my car note the next month. I never got a chance to have the vehicle inspected because I caught covid, and due to me having someone tried to hijack the car during a hotel stay. A couple weeks later my car was repossessed and ***** wanted me to pay her over 1200 to get it back. I’m upset because I’m a single mother and she refused to give me back the hard earned money I put down, and I’m not the only person who she has gotten over on. AND I never received my tag I only had a temporary one. ***** is a big scammer and this business needs to be shut down!

    Valerio's auto sales would
like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We weren’t aware of
**** ***** having problems wither vehicle until we saw it published all over ********.
She never bothered calling us about the situation until we did. When ***** told
us the problems she was having with the car we advised her to ring the car to
us as soon as she could so we could check out the problem and fix it, she told
us it was a long drive and was afraid she wouldn’t make it. We told her to take
it to a local mechanic to have checked out and that we would cover the cost. The
week went by, and we didn’t hear back from her, we tried to call her back with
no luck. That weekend her mother came to the office and explained that her
daughter was having an issue with the car, and I explained to her that we had
already spoken with **** ***** about what to do. Another week went by and still
no communication with the *****, by this point it her account was in default no
nonpayment on her tag and taxes and her car note. We proceeded to repose her
vehicle. We weren’t aware that she had fallen sick. We try to help our customers
the best we can, all we ask in return is for them to help us out by doing their
part. All sales are final, and no refunds are issued. I have attached the
document where it states that, sign by the customer.

Early in the month of June 2023, I purchased a 2012 **** ******* from ******* **** ****** At the time of signing paperwork I was told the car had a 30 day warranty for anything underneath the hood. Immediately the car started having issues such as turning off in the middle of the road, and I was told on June 16th to bring the car in for repairs on Monday June 19, 2023 at 9am. After dropping the car off I was told it would be ready later that day; however at 6pm at closing the business demanded money for repairs despite the warranty and said the car wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be ready until Friday the 23rd. However on the 23rd the car wasn’t ready and the manger cursed my mom out and threw business cards at mom because my asked if I can discount on the car payment. The manger also said that day that it be another week and day from Friday before the car is fixed. I have not been offered a loaner or even a ride a home nor will the dealership release the car.

    Valerios auto sales would
like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Attached is the buyers’
guide where it explains what’s covered, for how long, how much cost we cover
and stating we do not provide loaner vehicles signed by the customer. Due to
the weather our mechanic got held behind with repairs and we called the
customer to inform him that we would were working on getting his vehicle out as
soon as we can as the weather permits. This week we tried to contact *** *****
in regards his vehicle to explain that the vehicle was overheated to the extreme
that it caused too much damage and repairs were going to be too much. We wanted
to get him in a different vehicle. We usually don’t do that but because of the
situation we made an exception so he would be without a vehicle much longer. I couldn’t
contact him but a lady claiming to be his sister called from a number ending in
0322 asking about the vehicle. I told her I couldn’t give any information
because she wasn’t in contract and that I needed to speak with *** *****. The women
got bad and started cussing. We will not allow disrespect to any of our
employees, if that’s how they do to get things done, with us it doesn’t work.

February 23 we went in to Finance a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Silver. We drove all the way from ********* ** ***********, I spoke with ***** (sales lady) over the phone and she said she would wait for me. When I got there they took the car back for inspection, mind you they had over 2 hours to do that. While we were inside waiting the ladies were eating, cussing up a storm and that to me was very disrespectful because my son was there as well. The car was not ready for the test drive until it was dark outside. That seemed a bit planned out. We drove the vehicle, brought i back and discussed with the mechanic the issues we heard and felt so he fixed that which was just cutting out the interior of the tire cover. I asked several questions such as ****** *they don't use them), Transmission issues or changes (not that they know of), Any accidents or any issues that I should be aware of (none at all), after all the assurances they said they offer a 30 day 50/50 warranty, I paid $3800 cash, $3500 down payment and $300 toward the $1,000 + Tag. I drove off and 20 minutes down the highway the left driver side tire goes flat, immediately the check engine light came on along with the ABS light. I got home, was driving out in the morning and the truck stop accelerating and reads engine Power Reduced, I called them again, after around 8 calls I was able to get ***** on the line saying there is nothing they can do I can bring it back for them to check it, go to auto zone for a scan, or tow it there. I went to auto zone and it showed the Catalytic Converter was failing. I called again many times until they answer and told her what it was she said they don't cover that and that she would be asking the Owner and get back to me, up to this day she never called me back. I went to get a diagnostic on the vehicle it needs Throttle Body, Mass flow Meter Sensor, Catalytic Assembly, Fuel Pump , Transmission Mount, Open Control Arms, ABS Sensor, Air Filter, Alignment. They Repoed!!

    Valerios auto sales would
like to start by saying we apologize for all the inconvenience. our hours of
operation are from 9am to 6pm so when Ms. ********* arrived, we were already
close, we had a busy day and at the time she arrived was when we had the chance
to eat lunch. Ms. ********* didn’t arrive until after 6:30 it was already dark outside
when she got here, we have no control on what time it gets dark. We are a buy
here pay here used car lot, so we don’t provide car fax, the customer was informed
about it when she asked. When the customer called about the issue, she started
getting upset without giving me a chance to say anything. she never mentions
any of the other issue she mentioned on the complaint, besides the catalytic
converter, she said that she took it to a mechanic and that they told her it
was the catalytic converter. They day of the sale everything was explain what
was cover and for how long. I inform her that catalytic converters were not
cover within the warranty and before I had a chance to finish, she rudely started
speaking over me again with things about the lemon law without letting me
finish. When she did give me the chance to speak again, I told her that I was
going to speak to my boss about it to see how we can help her since she just
got the truck. Told Ms. ********* I would give them a call back. I tried
calling the phone number on her account to inform her that my boss told me to
bring in the truck so we can check it out and fix it but no answer. The truck
got repossessed due to non-payment of pick-up note which it in her paperwork with
dates of when the payments are due initialed by her. I tried calling once more
before being sent out to repo and still no answer, at this point it has been 7
days after her pickup note was due. We always try to help our customers the
best way we can, but once they come with a negative mentally is hard to please
them. Keep in mind we are a used car lot we don’t sell brand new cars. Used cars
are bound to have issue and when they do show up, we work with our customers to
    get them right.
