Big A Tires South ******************************************************************************************** Avoid this place, if you value your life.Spend more at a real tire company.This place sold me two used tires that were dry-rotted and now, they refuse to make it right.On 12/1/22 around 1:30pm I went over to pick up some good used tires, and they showed me the thread from about 5 ft away and never once mentioned the dry rot. I head back after work just hours later, since I work less than a mile away, to see if this can be fixed. They tell me they don't have any more of either size (225/60/16 or 215/65/16) and to come back tomorrow (12/3).I go back at lunch, just after 1pm, and they offered me two worse tires that were both different sizes and different thread patterns. I mention I am willing to buy new tires for the difference and they lost their minds. They got belligerent and accusatory, like it was my fault that I didn't see the cracks inside their dark garage from 5' away, but never once taking responsibility for those tires, since they were the ones who mounted, balanced, and installed them on my car. I guess its all my fault .They even claim to have a 15 day warranty (see picture of receipt, upper right hand corner) that they refuse to honor.Nothing says "shady AF" as what they pulled today.I thought I was doing right by shopping local, what an expensive ($110) mistake that turned out to be.It's sad, I have recommended this place far more times than I ever needed to use them, but after this and their immediate jump to absolute belligerence, this place will become a top contender for the "never to use or recommend" places in ***********.I'm sure that they (the owners and/or employees) won't care, but I hope this saves someone's life, as what they sell is very dangerous and not road worthy.
