On February 16, 2024, I contacted the Ghosts Control Security Equipements Warehouse toll free **********, **********, **********, ********** to request a contractor to repair my residence gate opening system that I purchased from Ghosts Control. The representative on the phone referred me to a local contractor responded by the name of Jennifer and the telephone number ********** and gate ***** **** **********. I called the local contractor and within minutes 2 men came to my house. They inspected the gate and told me that I had 2 choices. I could either take risk of fixing the gate without any guaranty and that would cost me $550.00, or I purchase a new solar system that would cost me $2359.00. I chose to get the gate opener fixed. It was not until March 10, 2024, that the man came back to my house after I paid him the $275.00 deposit to do the job because I called him to find out why he never came back to do the job. He found his explanation to tell me that my gate is not moving after he pressed on the gate and bent the wright iron post supporter, that the gate would have to be loose in order for him to fix the opening system. All he had to do is either lubricate the gate and it would become loose. He also alleged that whenever he had a job in the area, he would stop by to fix the gate. On May 31, 2024, I called him again to ask when he would come back. June 1, 2024, he replied not forgotten. I told him that I would go with the new system. June 1, 2025, he asked me to send video of the gate moving. I lubricated the gate with WD40 and the gate moved with no issue whatsoever. He found another excuse that his credit card machine wasn't working to take the payment. August 29, 2025, I purchased the equipment from *** ******** ********t and hired another contractor referred by **** ****** who installed the gate opener. I called Ghosts control to request that the man refund me my money because I had the gate opener installed by someone else. No one seems to work with me.

Subject: Response to BBB Complaint – Case
    Involving Local Contractor
    Dear BBB Representative,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
After reviewing the details of the complaint, we would like to clarify that
this issue does not pertain to Ghost Controls directly. The customer entered
into an agreement with a local independent contractor for services related to
the gate opener. Ghost Controls was not involved in the negotiation, execution,
    or fulfillment of that agreement.
As such, we do not have the authority to intervene or take any action
regarding this complaint. We recommend the customer continue working directly
with the contractor to resolve any outstanding concerns.
Please let us know if any further clarification is needed.
    Sincerely,
    ******** *****

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Ghosts Control referred me to the local contractor otherwise I would never purchase the piece of **** they sold me. I purchased a different brand and was referred to a local contractor as the official local contractor of **** ******, and they installed my gate opener without any issue whatsoever. Ghosts control is a piece of shit and a rip off organization that the government should request to run out of business because all they are doing is ripping innocent people off.

    Regards,
