    Refund request My name is ******* ******* I am filing a complaint against West Sunrise Dentistry regarding an over charge. I was a patient with West Sunrise Dentistry. While my health insurance was paying for my dental care, West Sunrise was charging me at the same time. After I investigated the over charge, I requested a refund. West Sunrise Dentistry refunded partial of the refund. After waiting for weeks to receive my refund balance, which has never been issued. I called **** (person in charge) several times, left messages for the refund balance due to me, he has never returned my calls. I even sent him an email, he has not responded. Therefore, I decided to file a complaint in order to get my refund balance. Thank you *******

    1/17/24 appointment was for an extraction & a buildup of bone material necessary to add an implant at a later date. I was not advised to get pre approval which would confirm all charges were covered by insurance but was asked to pay $105 for extra nitrous and $1045 for service. I was assured of a refund to my Care Credit / ************** card. I allowed this in good faith. $ 180 for nitrous as well as charges for the procedure were then submitted to Humana. So charges were billed twice. To date nothing has been refunded. Humana has paid Sunrise Dental $299 + $58 + The $1045 was denied pending an explanation for the bone buildup. None has ever been given. This constitutes double charges for the procedures. Im am asking for my credit card to be refunded as I did everything in good faith. I am owed the full $ 1060. Thank you.

    I came in to West Sunrise Dentistry on October 30 2023 after I saw the window ad for $59.00 for Cleaning, ************** **rays. (Have a photo of the ad)I came in for cleaning and asked the front desk if the cleaning is $59.00 and she answered that it depends on the type of cleaning. She has not mentioned that the **rays and exam are additional costs. They performed **rays and the doctor told me that I need deep cleaning and to fix a broken crown.This was all that was done. Cleaning was not done .A week later I called Aetna to check how much money I have in my account and I was surprised to find out that they charged Aetna $1,181.00 for **rays and evaluation. The total amount that Aetna provide for dentist work is $1250.00 per year. Because of their charge I cannot do any dental work this year.

    On June 14,2023 I paid my Dental Bill in full and my balance was $0.00 On July 26,2023 they took money out of my checking account for $49.63 On Aug 26,2023 they took money out of my checking account for $49.63 On Sept 26,2023 they took money out of my checking account for $49.63 On Sept 29,2023 I contacted the ************** and Spoke with ******* about the deduction from my account. He told me I would receive a refund for $148.89 within 2 weeks. to this day I have not received a refund. I have tried cotacting the ************** 5 times and they will not return my phone calls I have gone down in person and after waiting an hour they informed me there is no one to speak to me. I just want my refund of $148.89 and I want them to stop taking money from my account for a bill that has been paid in full!! please see my uploaded information

    Date of transaction started on 3-9-2023. I went to West Sunrise Dentistry with a issue as they were a provider in my Florida Blue Dental program. Was examined and had to have extraction and bridge with a cost of $7,400. Even though I had insurance, I had to pay the full amount up front to have the dental work done. I was instructed to file the claim to my insurance company which I did. Following up with my insurance company, they paid $1,000 of the claim and that amount was sent to West Sunrise Dentistry on 5-16-2023. The next day I went to West Sunrise to confirm the receipt of the money and when I would receive the money as my account had been paid. It was confirm they received the $1,000 but could not tell me when I would receive that money. One 6-15-2023, Six weeks have passed and still no money. When I contacted them on this matter, I was informed by one of the office staff it should be another three or four weeks. Even the insurance company has contacted West Sunrise with out any success. According to the letter sent by the insurance company, there was a procedure done prior approval and the money I paid was to be returned. (See insurance letter) Nothing on that from West Sunrise.
