    My car was damaged due to the poorly maintained parking lot in front of Nordstrom Racks adjacent to Trader Joe's lot in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, ********* * ******* ***. Both properties are owned and being maintained by RK 1600 Commons LLC. On January 7, 2024, I went shopping in both stores at this location, and I parked my car on that parking lot. When I was leaving the front bumper of my car was ripped off and cracked by the rebar which was sticking out of the parking stone, and that caused extensive damage to my car. There were no warning signs anywhere on the parking lot. I sent email and registered letter along with the pictures of my car on this parking lot with many pieces of my bumper laying around the parking stop stone with the rebar sticking above the surface of this stone, to the RK 1600 Commons office in Sunny Isles, FL, but I never got any official written reply from them. I called the office and was able to speak to the consular for RK 1600 Commons, named Jeff, who stated that RK 1600 Commons is not going to take any responsibilities for damage and refused to provide me with the information of RK 1600 Commons liability insurance company. I have many pictures of my car at the parking lot, pictures of the rebar in parking stone, videos and a witness. The bumper of my car needs to be completely replaced. Since the property owner did not use ordinary care to repair and eliminate the potential harm and take reasonable measures to warn about the risk, the owner should be responsible for damages caused by failure to properly maintained parking lot. I'm asking the property owner to pay for repair of my car.

    Illegally tow cars of customers while shopping on site! They trust the sketchy tow company guys word who swears at you etc about getting your car off their property and threaten you as you pull away. Both the tow company and RK center are in a huge SCAM together. Also have read to watch your credit card as they tend to be hacked after paying to get your car back!

    BBB need to investigate RK Centers. They illegally tow customers cars on daily basis with some bogus reasons and have been doing this for years! Social media accounts are flooded with customers complains about this property management. Please take action!

    This company RK towed my car at Aldi/Burlington parking lot at 4 am in the morning. Not only my car, they do that every day, picking cars randomly. There is no sign in the whole complex of warning of towing and name of towing company and phone number. I had a hard time to find out and get my car back. Aldi nor Burlington seem to know anything about this. "we don't tow any cars, we don't care about parking. Since my Bldg. across the street and the gated parking get renovated, I had no choice than to park there with many other cars. Didn't do any harm or block access to anything. What for a cruel and sneaky way. I hope this person get the karma he deserves. We are not rich and work hard for the money and to pay $230 for towing takes a big chunk out of my budget for the month. What for a terrible thing to do to other people.
