Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am responding on behalf of the Law Office of Travis R. ******************* P.A., regarding *** ******** complaint. We take all client concerns seriously and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the matter.
Billing and Retainer Agreement
Our firm, like any other law office, establishes fees based on the scope of legal services provided. Before engaging our services, *** ******* signed a retainer agreement, which clearly states that the fees are non-refundable.
During the initial consultation, our attorneys inform clients of these terms to ensure full transparency before any agreement is signed.
Attorney Departure and Client Notification. Attorneys occasionally transition from law firms, which is outside our control. As required by the Florida Bar, our firm promptly notified *** ******* and other affected clients of their attorneys departure. Clients were given the option to continue working with our firm under a new attorney or seek representation elsewhere.
Communication and Office Visit
Our records indicate that *** ******** phone calls were received and addressed by our staff regarding his billing inquiries. To further clarify, we have attached a screenshot from our online call platform, which confirms that his calls were accepted and handled professionally.
In December 2024, *** ******* visited our office without an appointment. Our team accommodated him by escorting him to a conference room and reviewing his case details.
The assigned paralegal provided clarification regarding his billing concerns. Unfortunately, during the conversation, *** ******* raised his voice at a staff member. Our staff requested that he communicate respectfully, but when the behavior continued, he was asked to leave the premises.
Interaction with *** ******************
As *** ******* was leaving, *** ******************* the firms owner, personally addressed him in an effort to de-escalate the situation.
At no point did *** ****************** or any firm employee raise their hands or act aggressively toward *** ******** Any such claims are inaccurate.
*** ****************** also reiterated that respectful communication is expected when interacting with staff members. However, he was still willing to discuss billing concerns in a professional setting.
Our firm is committed to treating all clients with respect and dignity. We recognize the importance of constructive communication and strive to provide quality legal services to all members of our community.
If further clarification is needed, we are happy to cooperate with the BBBs review process.

The accusations on this complaint are false as ****** ***** was no longer a member of our firm as of December 12th, 2024. Unfortunately our security footage history is not able to get accessed at this time due to the current staff's limited accessibility after other staff departed the firm. We have 5 eye witnesses that can confirm that Mr. ****************** did not physically or verbally threaten Mr. ******** In fact, Mr. ******* was asked politely to lower his voice after he raised his voice in a violent manner to two women paralegals in our office. Once he was told to leave he grew upset and started making multiple false accusations on ****** and on the Better Business Bureau website.Business Response
