According to our records, Mrs. ***** ***** signed up with our company on 3/26/2024. We previously assisted her for about two years in removing over six negative accounts from her credit reports. Mrs. ******* current complaint is false and baseless. You will see in the attached text message that she stated my company removed two negative accounts from her credit reports. Please see the text message attachments.
Furthermore, it appears that Mrs. ***** is looking for an overnight miracle. Every client's situation is different. However, we have no control over Mrs. ***** maxing out her credit cards during the credit restoration process. Maxing out her credit cards is counterproductive and drops her credit score. Also, my team and I gave her credit coaching and tips on improving her credit score during this process. However, it appears she did not apply our recommendations. I entered into an agreement with Derrick Young Enterprises LLC on 02/22/2024. From the beginning, Derrick and his staff were answering the phone are any questions that I had. Toward the end of my 45 days, the responses went to bare minimum. He advertises that he could repair your credit within 45 days and gives a money back guarantee. Today I am at 124 days and there has been no movement on my credit. I am not here to discredit the company. I do believe it has worked for some people. I knew that there would be some risks doing credit repair. My issue is that when the service does not work as planned, they treat you as if you a badgering them or a bother. I was simply reaching out to them because they are the experts, and I was looking for some direction or guidance through the process. You go from being a customer to just someone who signed a contract and now there are technicalities that I dont understand. You must wait 6 months to even request your money back. His only response to me is through messenger or text message now. I have not been unruly or rude. I just want to be treated professionally and not for someone to communicate only through text. Derrick called me twice since we started. After that, no calls at all. Again, this program may work for some people, but the treatment explained in all the previous BBB complaints are true. I would love a refund. I dont feel that I should have to go back and forth with someone who promised me a service with a money back guarantee. The outcome was not provided (my credit score did not even move since February) and now I am being treated like the bad guy.Business Response

According to our records ************** signed up with my company on 2/22/24. Due circumstances out of my companies control the process is took much longer then what is normally takes. ************** will receive a full refund even though we have current disputes into the credit bureaus for her. We know by now she should or will have gotten three green return receipt slips in the mail. ************** will be refund $100.00 per month over a period of ten months according our refund policy. Before signing a contract with this company, I specifically asked the timeframe for services to be rendered which I told was 45 days. I am a military veteran starting the home buying process and I wanted to be able to purchase a home in October some time. I signed a contract on 8/9/2023 for ************* Services with Derrick Young Enterprises, LLC. in the amount of $1,000. I sent a Zelle for that amount on 8/11/2023 from my bank. I recently contacted the *** to get a status update for my credit report. I was told that updates were only given on Friday, ****************** I did contact the company on 9/23/2023 and left a voicemail. My call was never returned. I contacted the company the following day a was told that I would be getting an update by email. I didn't receive that either. I contacted the company again to only be left text voice messages and trying to upsell another product called Business Credit on Zoom. I did not receive any updates of documentation that services were rendered for what I paid. I requested a refund from the company. I also sent the *** the BBB complaints filed against his company for the same thing I was experiencing with their services. The *** advised me if I filed a complaint, it would only lengthen my process for services to be rendered. The *** had an assistant call me on 9/25/2023. She too used the same stall tactics as the ***. I could not get a word in the conversation trying to explain I had already made several attempts. I received an email on 9/25/2023 from Derrick Young Enterprises, LLC. informing me that I would not receive a refund. I have records of his emails and voicemails which were unprofessional from the *** as well. I was told I was rude and unreasonable when only questioning services I paid for. Our records show she signed her client agreement with my company on 8/09/23. She paid a $1000.00 ************************* Fee. Also, her husband signed up on the same day for free credit repair; they purchased the 2-for-1 credit repair plan. ***************** is correct. I did tell her that it "Usually" takes about ***** days for the credit bureaus to write back. However, credit bureaus sometimes report back before 45 days or shortly after 45 days. My company has no control over that. Also, ***************** mentioned that my company gives updates on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and she is correct. However, ***************** had a bad habit of contacting my company via Instagram after business hours, sometimes around 11:30PMEST. We explained our business hours when she signed up with my company. Also, on 9/25/23, my Assistant ******** called ***************** to update her. However, ***************** was rude to my staff member and even hung up the phone on ******** before she could give ***************** an official update. Based on the terms of ***************** client agreement, she is not *********** a refund at this time. We request that ***************** cooperate with the process and allow my company to help her. We also committed to helping her improve her credit. I also attached a copy of her client agreement for our records.

I am rejecting this response because:Derrick Young's response is responding to the facts from my complaint.
1. I specifically asked when to expect completion of our credit reports. I was told 45 days. He DID NOT say that it could take longer than 45 days at the time of our call. I asked these questions before agreeing to sign agreement or pay for his services. If so, I would not have signed or paid for this service from this company.
2. I only contacted his company 2 times for updates. I should not have to contact a company for updates when they should be providing one to me.
3. i was not rude to the assistant on the phone. She would not allow me to get a word in to voice my concerns. ************ uses stall tactics to not address your concerns.
4. I have voice recordings of Derrick Young and screenshots. After he's taken your payment without delivering any services, he then tries to get you to sign up for Business Credit Services.
5. I have not seen any letters generated on our behalf to the Credit Bureaus. I have no proof of what any services rendered.
6. I have not received any communication from the Credit Bureaus of any disputes initiated on our credit reports.
7. I have checked our credit reports from all of the Credit Bureaus, and they also show no disputers initiated as well.
8. It is well over the 45-day period.
9. There are similar complaints submitted to the BBB regarding the very same complaint I have with this company.
10. The contract is not worth the paper is printed on. He uses this as an agreement not to refund your money.

I pay this company $1000 last September 2022. I had a couple of friends, who went through Mr. *********************** program, and he was able to help with their credit.I signed up with him, and he made big promises, but it was a disaster from the start. I believe Mr. ********************** has stepped out of the normal operations of the business,Their dispute manager *************************** has never been professional, and always makes excuses for his delays and lack of updates. I received corresponding letters from the bureaus, asking for extra verification, and I got blown off. Its just a simple stall letter. Nine months later, it seems that there is still an issue with this round of disputes.They advertise a ************* sweep, we are coming up on 365 days and their first attempt was a failure. This is putting real life events on hold or in turmoil, as I am hoping that they will finally get their act together. Their dispute manager will never let you know what is actively being disputed, or if anything is actually actively being disputed. You would think if they had a good system, it would be easy enough to tell the customer this is being disputed, and you should hear back by this time, if not, then reach back out to us . Once I realize that he could not do that, I started asking for the actual dates that the disputes were sent out, so that I would be able to discern when I should hear something back. Its like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from this company; it is causing me physical stress to try and find an update on my account.They continue to advertise 45 to ******************** like clockwork on their ******** and social medias, but I have been looking for them to honor their service to me as we are coming up on our one year anniversary of a defective service. And dont believe their money-back guarantee, they were gaslight you and tell you that we dont promise to remove all items. *** had a year of broken promises and incompetence from this company.Business Response

According to our records, he signed his client agreement with my company on 9/26/22. We review the client agreement with each client and answer any questions they may have before they sign the contract and render any payment. Every client knows full well. He paid $1000.00 Credit Coaching/Education Fee. We do not charge upfront fees. Clients pay for Credit Coaching and Education. The Credit Coaching and Education include, but were not limited to, the following:
1) Monthly credit coaching phone calls with me or my staff.
2) Quarterly Zoom meetings with me and my team.
3) Credit repair updates every ***** days. ( Via phone, email, or Zoom meeting)My company fulfilled all of that and more for ******************. As ****************** stated in his complaint, my company helped several of his friends in the past and we did. My company typically helps lots of clients each year. When ****************** started with my company, his credit score was around 420; however, the last time my company checked his credit report was about 45 days ago, and his credit scores were around 645 when my company last checked. Over the time of ********************** contract, he and I have verified more than ten negative accounts have been removed from his credit reports using the **** via Zoom and phone calls. That's the key that helped his credit score rise to 645 when checking his credit scores. If you need me to, I can email you the accounts that were removed when reviewing them.
Unfortunately, ****************** acts as if he is the only client we are helping, which is not the case. ****************** is not eligible for a refund based on the terms of his client agreement. ****************** suggested that my company attempt to remove all his closed accounts in good standing. I informed him that he would not do that, and he appeared to get angry. In closing, ****************** is not eligible for a refund based on his signed client agreement. I have also attached a copy of his client agreement for records.

Everything that this company wrote was completely false. They never had any monthly or quarterly meetings, and, like I said in the original post, it is hard to get Mr. ********************** on the phone. Theyre dispute manager, never ports any of the information through, and thats why theres been an issue with the program from the beginning. The one meeting that I did have with Mr. **********************, it seemed that he finally looked at my file, and realized that there was an issue with Transunion on their only round of disputes as I have been telling them since February (5 months after I started the program); note that I finally got a meeting for them to realize this issue in late May.Two out of three of my scores change, Transunion never changed. (With Experian being the main one that had a direct result from Mr. **********************s program ) the others were due to credit limit increases through my personal actions. The score was not near 420 and never has been, you may be a 150 points off. Please provide your documentation. I literally have full credit report from every month starting to finish of your program, from each bureau.
also, your company never claimed that you cannot take off the old accounts. Nor did I get angry. The frustration that I had with your company, not angry, was that you were not able to send a list of active disputed accounts, yet you copy and paste your we have active disputes for you constantly without providing proof of that. Which is evident by your inability to complete one round of disputes, consistent with all three credit bureaus, let alone multiple rounds, as it seems none were started after your first hiccup.
I messaged you all for an update once a month, and then every two months (as it seems that your website that is supposed to show current things in dispute, removed, Pending, etc, does not actually work; and is not updated). I do not understand how this seems that Im acting as if Im the only client. No, you all do not value me enough to provide the service that you agreed upon, nor any updates to give your customer any confidence that you were doing your job. Even after delays and excuses.
Please check your records, and any other documentation that you would like to show, I have phone calls and emails of your incompetence, and request for the value that I paid for.
You also claimed that my contract was canceled because I left a review to the BBB, checking your client contract, that is not a reason for cancellation. It is hopeful that it would be a motivator for you all to honor your contract or give a refund.

We also have helped him remove several negative accounts from his credit reports. ******************, one of my staff members, and I verified this by having a Zoom Meeting. during our meeting, you finally checked my credit report, and realized that there was an issue with removal of items from one or two credit bureaus. Even so, so much, theres been one round of removals. There has been no movement that since the first delayed actions (I believe you finally sent disputes in December, not September).I dont want an extension of service, I would like a refund or the lack of service, and false advertising on timelines and ability to remove items. If you say that you remove disputed items from the 3 bureaus each round, that was not done. No more round have been done. Lets stick to the facts. Not an it seems this or it seems that.
Heres what you advertised, heres what you did not do. What you did do was incomplete. Defective, as you called it. Follow up service was below expected, and disrespectful and accusatory most of the time. No updates, no credit coaching, no returned calls, no actual conversation about fixing and planning the credit repair; and no confidence in this companys ability to do their service. It shows through the lack of productivity on my report.

I reached out to Derrick Young March 11 2023 after seeing his advertisements on a social media platform. We spoke via text, a few phone calls and he kept assuring me that he could get my credit fixed in ***** days with a $1000 plan but he offered me a discount of $700. Which I paid $400 via cash app 3 days later and he gave me a few weeks to get the remaining $300 which was done as well via cash app. With this program I was promised credit counseling from him as well WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. My personal information and hard working money was paid to him with promises of credit repair. After a few attempts of me reaching out to him he kept saying to me that I needed to trust the process. Well its been almost 4 months and nothing has happened. He has even blocked me from contacting him on social media. His assistant did reach out ONCE reassuring me that they were waiting on the bureaus to work my credit file. I NEVER received in the mail some green card that he said I would receive. This whole process has been very unprofessional & nothing he said has happened. He kept telling me he has helped hundreds of people credit jump ******* points in 30 day and he has done this for over 20 years. I want and need my money back because I feel that I have been scammed. This man has my money, personal documents, ss # etc. This is not a way a real professional business is conducted. Send me my $700 back. ********* assistant even tried to tell me that if I paid for the $2500 program he currently has then he could move faster on my profile. Why would I give another dime if he hasnt done anything with the $700 I already paid? I have all of our ********************* messages saved for proof if needed. According to our records **************** signed up with our company on 3/15/23. She paid $700.00 for Credit Coaching/Education based on the terms of her client agreement. The actual credit repair service is included with the Credit Coaching/Education free of charge. ******************** claims are false and baseless and I am not to response to them. The facts are the following: 1) My company helps thousands of clients each year and we do a wonderful job for them. 2) My staff members have given **************** periodic updates on the process of her credit repair journey with my company. One of my staff members inform her that we disputed her first round electronically and we did not get the results we were looking for on behalf. Then she was informed that the credit bureaus were having minor delays in responding to disputes. Finally she was informed that we were in the process of mailing out dispute letters on her behalf. Some clients may watch ******* and other social media platforms and think in their mind that credit repair is a one size fit all process. When that is further from the truth. 3) **************** has a 180 day money back guarantee clause in her client agreement and you will be clearly able to see for yourself on her client agreement I have uploaded for you. FALSE! This is not completely true! Yes I signed a contract BUT I have not received any of the other commitments that came with the package. My credit has not been touched by his services. Its still the same score and from one of our last conversations he didnt even have access to my credit report bc I was asked 3x to send him my report via email. Which was also concerning bc what did I pay for if you cant access my credit. I heard from ******** his assistant twice and that was bc one time I called him and he sent me to her. I paid this company 137$ with the expectation that they genuinely wanted to assist with credit repairs. I paid the owner , Derrick young, directly Through cash app and hadnt been able to get him on the phone once I paid him . He had a fake assistant contact me to lie and say that his mother was in the icu and thats why I couldnt reach him although he was consistently posting on social media to obtain new clients . I spoke to a couple individuals who used his services in the past and they told me to be careful because the owner is scamming people left and right. He refuses to give me my money back and had agreed to give it back in **** days which at this point it has been longer than that . It seems as if he has blocked me . ***************************** signed up with our company on 1/3/2023. He called our company over nine times within ten days. After we informed ****************** that it usually takes ***** days for the credit bureaus to write clients back, he only initially paid $137.00 to get started. During several phone calls with one of my female staff members. She felt ****************** was being rude and very demanding. My staff member clearly explained to ****************** that I was unavailable at the time due to a family matter. At the time of ********************** numerous phone calls, I had a family member in ICU, and I was not taking calls from clients. My staff members were handling clients' incoming calls to the company.
As I mentioned earlier, ****************** called our company nine times within ten days after he made his initial payment of $137.00 and according to my staff member. She felt ****************** was rude and very demanding. I do not recall a client calling that many times in a short span after signing up. Once I talked to my staff member, I decided to give ****************** a refund of $137.00; he did not ask for a refund. We have no intention of keeping ********************** $137.00. ****************** will get refunded within seven business via Cashapp. He will need his current Cash App name. We take all complaints seriously. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. ****************** was refunded on February 13th.
