    My roommate and parked in a parking lot where the business was closed for 30 minutes and when came back, our car was towed and people said there were people on golf carts circling around waiting for victims to park where their signs are posted although the business (lemon tree spa) was closed so they didnt call to report anything. We called number on sign and this guy answered and told us we needed to bring $200 cash to get our car back. We had to pay uber to go to the bank and then to this sketchy place. There was a woman just hanging out in this empty building with her dog taking cash from people whose cars were towed. After paying, another tow truck with a different towing company name was bringing in another car. It felt like such a rip off and proper practice at all!

    In regard to this complaint, I am contracted with the entire property where Lemon tree spa is located to tow any vehicles that are parked on the property during and after business hours if they are not approved to be there. Which this person was not they were at A market ******************* is private property and there are tow away signs posted clearly for people to see. As far as the comment of people on golf carts I am not sure who those people are, possibly locals riding around the beach, they have absolutely nothing to do with my company. I feel this whole complaint was far fetch and taken out of context calling A tow yard "sketchy" I truly feel this person is just upset there car got towed. I am not willing to give A refund just as any other tow company would not be willing to, unfortunately they were illegally parked and it is our job to remove them, per owner of the property.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    We were gone for less than 20 minutes and our car was already towed and stored at this place, otherwise vacant building. So obviously there is some type of operation to seize cars as soon as possible. Sketchy is an accurate description of the place where the car was towed, and is only a place where a woman who claimed the owner to be her friends son and was ************ out, demanding cash only, making it more difficult for people to get their cars back. I will take the next step in the complaint process to keep others from being preyed upon unnecessarily as well.
