Pinellas MycroSchool is a scam. It is run by a company called New Corp out of Gainesville and the “CEO” of NewCorp is a woman named Joy ******. If you look at Joy ****** on LinkedIn, it has Harvard University next to Joy ******** name. Then, if you go further down ******** profile, you see that ****** didn’t actually attend & earn a degree from Harvard University, ****** attended a principals institute at Harvard University in 2008, almost 16 years ago. Harvard does this every year & Principals from all over the country go the this “institute” aka seminar. I know a man who is the Principal of Osceola Fundamental Middle School in Pinellas, principals from all over the country go to this “seminar”, they don’t put Harvard next to their name to mislead people. The Principal of MycroSchool Pinellas is Dr. Julie ****** who, see the attached, was fired from Pinellas County Schools in 2011 due to 30+ years of bad reviews and problems wherever Julie ****** went. ****** is clueless & continues to break down & destroy everything everywhere she goes. The students at ******** Pinellas MycroSchool go through multiple adults/staff members & even a Pinellas County Deputy, as well as metal detectors, bag/purse searches, & still get contraband in, including the “prohibited” cell phones, vapes, lighters, & even drugs and weapons. It is like the blind (Julie ******) leading the blind, a lower echelon of teachers who cannot get decent jobs anywhere else. The students, who run the school, use an online curriculum, but usually play games, watch movies, etc…. Teachers made them stop & the students just get back on. ****** loves Classroom Cloud, a system for teachers to monitor & remove kids from prohibited sites. Students prohibited cell phones & wi-fi hotspots to do what they want. You can do better than Pinellas MycroSchool. There are great choices available. Run, Run as fast as you can from Joy ******, Dr. Julie ****** & the farce that is MycroSchool.
