Got this glass door installed Nov. been leaking since. Called several times, no return calls. 3rd time got worker who came to lower the EXPENSIVE glass doors, then put some plastic piece on the side in between door which looks UGLY. This is what I paid DOUBLE to buy? Still leaks. Called again, no response. Text same worker who said he is on vacation for holidays but will let his boss know. Text again, he told me Jan 6th I will get call to confirm someone to come out to lower doors again plus see what else can be done. I explained to him the door was NOT the correct size measured. He said that is the way they come? So why measure if ur not installing according to JOBS' required necessity? I was CLEAR TWICE size i wanted BUT I got ignored & got shorter door. I am Disabled & cant be bending down & the leak that keeps coming out from the bottom of the doors out onto the floor where I have already slipped TWICE cause floor gets very slippery. I can Crack My HEAD or get KILLED as this is VERY dangerous for a disabled person to have to deal with. This is Y i payed DOUBLE the price at this place over the HALF PRICED cheaper ********** or Lowes doors which now I see overs Better coverage. I also trusted the owners professional experience asking her these questions B4 I spent all that money & bought the door SHE told me would be PERFECT for my situation. It's now Jan. 20th, 2025 & STILL no call, no one came. Nothing. She prefers to make NEW clients more important cause they are NEW customers so NEW payment BUT I BEEN paid so I should take PRIORITY since she already has my money B4 them. She rather be PRIDEFUL & angry & do nothing which is ignorant cause she knows she will loose THOUSANDS on court fees, replacement, plus my **************** Plus legal fees. I can't have this like this as it is a DANGER plus serious HAZZARD in my home. I have been LUCKY not to fall & crack my head the 2 X's I slipped but if i do I can get KILLED over their wanting to keep my money not fixingBusiness Response

Good Morning, I would like to preference my response that our company just celebrated our 42nd year in business. Over those 42 years we have had only one prior grievance with the BBB that was closed and ruled in our favor.
I personally was the person who went to Mr. ****** home when we were contacted about a shower enclosure. We spoke for a while and I am proud of the fact that we try to inform our customers of all options available and the pros and cons of each option. They are informed that we have a complete showroom of all these options and I encourage them to go there so they can visually see and tangibly touch everything they may wish to purchase.
I did all this with with Mr. ****** including offering different heights available besides all the other options. While there we spoke of how he remodeled the entire home. He showed me around and informed me how he did all the work himself, including tearing out walls, rebuilding some areas, cabinet installations, plumbing and electrical. (That is why is was caught off guard at the claims he is handicapped). I complimented on what a fine job he did by himself and he went on to tell me how talented he is and all the money he saved by doing all this work himself. That is when he informed me that he saved a large amount of money so he would like to go with the shorter shower unit, as I offered the height he decided on along with a taller version. He let me know that money was tight and that he would go with the shorter version. My office person contacted Mr. ***** with both height prices and he chose the shorter unit. She took her time, as she does with all of our customers and explained everything to Mr. ***** but he still wanted the shorter unit.
He complained water was coming out from the bottom so I sent our tech to lower doors to the furthest point possible. Then he complained that water is going between the doors so my tech had a small piece of material to demonstrate what we could possibly do to satisfy him. It would be a full length, but honestly, in 42 years, we have never had to use anything like this. We tried to explain to Mr. ***** that is is a shower enclosure, not a fish tank. We even have a big sign in our showroom that states "Water Will **** Out of Your Shower Door...That Ain't No Lie". We have that because it isn't a lie...a shower door is not going to make your shower "water tight".
We have installed thousands of this style unit over all these years. In fact it is one of our best sellers and I am always confident with this product because it is far superior to what is sold in the big box stores. That is the reason why we sell so many and have it on display in our showroom.
We are willing to go back and place some plastic "sleeves" on the unit for Mr. ***** but there is not much more that can be done. They are not made with these "sleeves" but if that is what he wishes we will do that. However, please understand, that there is no guarantee that water still may come out because these items are not specifically made for this type of installation.
I totally understand and sympathize with Mr. ***** handicapped situation (again, very surprised that could do all that fine work with his disabilities, God Bless Him) as I deal with it every day as my wife is in that similar situation following three brain surgeries at **********************. We wish all the best to him and we can try to satisfy him and keep him safe , but please understand, there is only so much that we can do.

I am rejecting this response because: Half of what he says is true. He never talked about FISH TANK response. First I ever heard of it. I said I did work but NOT PHYSICALLY. I have receipts showing I hired conctractors and sub contracters so what does that have to do with the shower? I TOLD HIM EXPLICITLY about the HEIGHT. That was the FIRST thing out of my mouth SEVERAL times cause u have to repeat urself in ******* because in this state they act exactly like THIS where they HEAR what THEY want to hear or THINK what they want to think. Yes I told him to give me a cheaper priced based on the ORIGINAL Door I wanted which was the OPEN DOOR setup i wanted. He explained this sliding door was cheaper and the water wouldn't come out of the shower with THIS style he told me about where as the style i wanted it would have. THAT Is the TRUE reasoning behind the CHEAP comment and the SWITCH and i do NOT mind takign a LIE detector test as I am SICK and TIRED of these businesses trying to cover THEIR tracks to save face at the expense of people. I have IN WRITING ALL the texts of the conserations I had with the *** that came last which was NOT this *** who took his sweet time to respond when it's someone ELSE who was supposed to respond. I Chose the sliding door AFTER I went in PERSON and the LADY OWNER, after me asking HER PESONALLY about the sliding door and the water and my needs BEFORE I decided to BUY anything and SHE Told me that this sliding door there won't be water coming out, especially for MY particular needs where I have a setup for jets for my back because of the 31 surgeries i have had which I now have 8 difference pieces of TITANIUM in my body so i need to use the jets for that plus to keep me relaxed from the 7 heart attacks and stroke I had so I was CLEAR as to how important the water issue would be and this *** AND the lady in the front who took my actual order, told me about this slider and she was 100% CLEAR that with this sliding door there will be NO water coming out especially for MY particular needs as per HER WORDS and we can do a LIE DETECTOR TEST for these liars that just want to save face. I don't care how long they been in business, that doesn't mean they won't shaft a person for whatever reason. U think they wanna loose money even on ONE person ONE deal? OF COURSE NOT, so they are gonna run this political lingo. I am NOT rich. I was CLEAR what i wanted and needed. When the 2nd *** came and tried to fix it, which clearly shows there was an ISSUE or else they would not ever come to begin with, and i SHOWED him BOTH PICTURES AND LIVE While he was at my house that it was coming out and HE SAW IN PERSON HIMSELF. HE lowered the door. I asked him to LOWER IT MORE, He refused and said try THIS FIRST and if it doesn't work then for me to call for him to call back and lower it again. I told him Y do i have to go through all that drama and hassle when he can just LOWER IT NOW while he was THERE already? But he refused causing MORE of this mess. HE put a plastic peace in the middle very POORLY CUT looking SLOPPY and unprofessional, very BOOTLEG it cut at that but i didn't even complain about that. He told me to call the store so he can come back again cause that was supposed to be TEMPORARY. So i did that, but no one picked up at the store when i called so i text him and i have it as proof. I text him SEVERAL Times. HE FINALLY Responded saying he was on vacation and that HE ALREADY Set up an appt for someone to come to finish lowering it again AND putting the permanent piece that goes in the MIDDLE of the glass and to FURTHER address the issue with the TOP water coming out sprinklying up through there. This is EXACTLY what HIS text says which is as follows on DEC 27th at 4:25PM from number ************ which read: I am currently off on vaccation, the shop will be reopening on the 2 of January. I am currently not going to be back until the 6th. They will probably be getting you on the schedule sometime after the 6th. They will CALL you a day ahead of time to schedules to lower the door as much as possible. thanks. End quote....No ONE came, NO ONE called, I have 3 times I show on MY PHONE I called the store and no one picks up, no one calls me. So i took it as they are avoiding me as it isn't that hard to contact a store or person. Then I Itext ihim again Tuesday January 14th at 2:39pm sending a long text explaining all this to him and that this issues has raised my blood pressure significantly and can send me to the hospital. I have a RECORD through my carteologist showing from the time this issue started with this glass business up until now, my blood pressure is AVERAGING 230/130. and my ** put me on EXTRA Blood pressure meds. This is now becoming a HEALTH Issues because If i have a heart attack or stroke because of the UNNECESSARY STRESS this business has caused me because they want to keep PROFITS cause they don't wanna put a longer door which i was CLEARLY with this dude about him MAKING 100% SURE it was HIGH ENOUGH because of what HE HIMSELF SAW as a shower head and he told me, NO DON"T WORRY ABOUT IT I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER 40 YEARS I HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS AND I"M JUST DOING THIS TO HELP THE STORE SO TRUST ME WHEN I TELL U THAT THIS IS THE STANDARD DOOR SIZE FOR ALL AND THIS IS WHAT WE INSTALL WHICH WORKS FOR EVERYBODY. HIS WORDS HIS MOUTH. We can tak a lie detector test. How did I even know this he wasn't bragging about him not having his own business and i asked him WHY he is doing this install if he has his own business for so long and he said to HELP them out was his answer. I just want this taken care of is all. I want what was PROMISED to me and if they can't do it cause they wanna save profit, then they can take the door back and give me a full refund and i will get the doors from lowes that is HALF the price which when i asked him WHY they are so expensive and cost DOUBLE what the lowes doors cost, he said cause it's better quality. So how is it it's BETTER quality yet it allows LEAKS where as lowes doors say NO LEAKS and HALF The price but ur doors are better? Doesn't make sense to me. I just want this fixed. HAD this *** done what I asked of him originally which is to LOWER THE DOOR MORE and to COME BACK MONDAY like he said he would do to put the permanent piece in the middle, that might have helped to solve the bottom and middle issue and then we could have addressed the TOP issue. I still thing he should put the longer doors since it was HIS FAULT which of COURSE he isn't gonna take accountability for cause it's about MONEY for these businesses as opposed to doing the right thing.I TOLD HIM i needed a door HIGH ENOUGH to clear ANY WATER from coming out from the TOP. I TOLD him at least 3 TIMES. 3 TIMES. Let's take a LIE DETECTOR and i win, U have to **** the entire job with a new longer door AND have a different person doing it and if i loose then u ***s don't do a thing and ill take the loss cause I KNOW WHAT I TOLD THIS DUDE AND the lady in the ***** at the store I KNOW what I ASKED Her and what SHE TOLD ME. She told me AWEE NO WAY NO WORRIES with that LONG DOOR< we sell it all the time it's a best seller and for UR needs its perfect no water issues and I even put my THUMB in between the gaps right in ***** OF HER FACE and asked her what about THIS GAP and she clearly said because of how the door is facing front to back, in from out, that was NOT a concern even AFTER explaining the shower head I have. IT amazes me how ALL businesses seem to HEAR But not LISTEN cause all they want is that next BUSINESS DEAL. Freakin' sickens me man. I am UNHEALTHY. This stress is gonna send me to the hospital then their worries about loosing profit on ONE job is gonna be the LEAST of their problems. I have a weekly listen and record that's given to my cardiologist as per HIS request showing how much more my blood pressure has gone up cause of this and as PROOF of BEFORE AND AFTER this job how much my blood pressure is doing and how BAD it is now and he told me himself it is just a matter of time before i land in the hospital again cause of all this STRESS with this freakin' business wanting to hide behind their past reviews. THats THEN, this is NOW and ur reviews have NOTHING To do with what is going on HERE. Right now, u ***s are gas lighting me and i am telling u it's gonna COST u MORE if i end up in the hospital for it. Since this *** seems to want to ignore the TEXTS I have from the other worker and IGNORE my conversation with the lady in the ***** that convinced me to buy this door and wants to IGNORE half of what i told him starting with the HEIGHT, HE should be the one to pay for the longer door since it was HIS badd. I am not paying it. Better to loose a little profit on ONE job as opposed to me landing in the hospital over this and getting sued for it which then they wont' have a business after that which to me is so assinine they don't even SEE that or want to IGNORE That cause i see a lot of PRIDEFUL people that wanna put PRIDE over doing what is RIGHT and karma is just gonna cost them. They can put the new longer doors and put it VERY LOW while the top is longer and put the permament piece in the middle and sell this door as i KNOW they can sell it as i see some of these being sold on the market place so not much loss for them there at all. They just wanna be HARD about i cause u gotta KEEP ALL profit in business and save FACE and PRIDE nonsense. I would NEVER run a business like this. I would run it as a christian first business with integrity and honesty OVER HIGH profitering. U want a copy of my blood pressure record and the new DOUBLE medication i have had to been getting that this has caussed me? Is that what u need, PROOF of what u people are doing to my health before u wake up? That's what u want? U want the number to my **? So u see this is for REAL and serious business. They are NOT far, they can CALL like the *** in the text said and COME and handle it after they make an APPT of course. I want what is fair and right. That is all. I am not asking for compensation or anything for s******* my health up MORE>
