    Paid this company a $800.00 dollar deposit for tree service. Check cashed at the end of April and still no services fulfilled by company.

    I took this job with the understanding there was no rush and I advised the customer that I wouldn't be able to get to it until my work slowed down. Especially since he lives over an hour away from me and where I normally do work. I will take care of his job sometime in December as it is one of my slower months and I will have the time to travel and complete the service.

    On May 24th Vincent Burns & myself hired Father and Sons Tree Service to send us a half a cord of wood for $150. He paid them via check. The owner of the company said he would make delivery by the 26th. Sadly the delivery was not made. On May 29 we asked the owner of the company again when can we expect delivery, he said by the end of the business day. After promising us that he would be there, I finally sent him a text that evening, to which he replied sorry, I have no driver. On June 1 I asked him when can I expect delivery. He replied, that he was out of town but he would have his coworker, Sean make the delivery. He said he would refund the money if Sean did not show up. Sean did not show up, and it was later learned that he had just cashed the check that day. I reached out again June 3 I got no reply. I reached out again June 5 and I got no reply. I'm quite sure he is refusing to take my calls. We would like our 150 dollars back. Here are some other Google reviews to perhaps to convince you to change their Rating from an A+ to something much more useful to warn other citizens about their thefts: Wilfried Schulz: after paying them half-way thru the job (longer story) they started leaving . according to written estimate: job was not completed and cleanup was also not completed . I was told , if I wanted the job completed I would have to pay more money. they also broke off the top of my queen palm . I feel like ,I fell for a con job. Cynthia Rivera: if I could give them zero stars i would. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are only in the business to look out for themselves. Super unethical & their word means nothing. They damaged my property I have been very patient giving them time to make repairs & all they do is give me the runaround. Save yourself the headache, now I have to spend my hard earned money to remove the two areas that were damaged and pay to replace them or remove everything altogether which is going to cost me alot of money

    Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/07/01) */ Business response taken verbally by BBB: We have already sent him the check. Customer stated would remove complaint once check was received. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/07/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) No check received. I truly don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. Ask him which address he sent it to, and the check number. I bet you he cannot answer either one of those questions. In addition, and this was not written in my initial complaint, we've reached out to him several times since then in an effort to resolve this. How this company has an A+ rating is beyond me. Any company that the Better Business Bureau knows so little about and has so little customer service history should not be given an A+ rating out of the gate.
