We worked with All Temperature Service, Inc. in September 2023 to purchase a new A/C unit. The unit was installed and we fully paid for the unit but ever since the install the unit has been nothing but problems. Every 1-2 months the unit breaks and stops cooling. We have had to spend over $1000 with All Temperature Service, Inc. on additional appointments, check-ins, and fixes on the machine from no coolant, 'wear and tear cracks', and other miscellaneous issues that should not be happening with a less than 2 year old machine. A less than 2 year old machine should not be breaking every few months. We have asked for the owners or managers to call us multiple times to ask what the resolution is, as we are tired of paying $200 per visit when the machine breaks. It has been over a month and we are still yet to receive a call back. But we keep getting invoices for the latest visit, from May 15, asking to pay. This is unacceptable and we just want a working A/C unit and want the current unit replaced with a new one as this one is clearly a lemon. If needed I have all the receipts of work done as well as multiple emails to the business reporting our issues and requests for replacement.

Thank you for theoportunity to respond.

We have for over 30 years been a Contractor of good faith to our customers. We are unfortunately subject to the same quality of manufacturing from the makers of the air conditioners as our customers are.  You see we are just simply the vessel in which the appliance is replaced or repaired. We only have our "workmanship" to warranty. The equipment manufacture has the responsibility of it's warranty. In this case the manufacture offers a 10 year all part warranty and 30 labor allowance when the system is registered. We as a workmanship warranty contractor offer a one year warranty against our work to install the new unit and 30 days for the workmanship of any repair or service.

All the work following the successful installation of the new system was fine for the period of August 2023 till Mat 2024. At this time a service call was placed for a clogged condensate drain line. This is considered a maintenance issue and billed as general service.

July 2024. At this time the condenser fan motor had failed and was replace with the part warranty and minimum labor cost.

The next visit January 2025. Standard first of the year Maintenance with full system check up.

April 2025. The system had a component failure. Condensing coil started leaking refrigerant. The part was repaired and the refrigerant replaced. Any thing from the manufacture was warranty and the labor and miscellaneous components where invoiced.

May 2025. General check on the system. System was found to be in good working order.

Each time we where called to respond we did. The manufacture had the replacement parts we needed as well.

We do realize that the disruption and cost of maintaining a system can be time consuming and costly. We try or best to help in any way we can.

Let us know how we can assist in the future.

I am rejecting this response because: we are still waiting on an answer from the business regarding equipment warranty and replacement. While yes the business has responded to every phone call when our A/C has been up to 86 degrees in the house and has come out within 1-2 days to look at it, every time the technician comes, we have asked them to check the equipment warranty and return to us with a response on how to submit a warranty claim and why is the equipment breaking so much. Multiple times we have heard from technicians that we would be followed up with and receive a call from the owner to talk about the equipment concerns and why the new machine was breaking so much but never received a call.

We then proceeded to call the office directly, as well as send multiple emails, asking for a discussion on the faulty equipment and what our options are, and never received a call back or an email back. In fact, the date of this BBB submission, our A/C broke again, and while yes the team did come out to fix it the next day, they said they would follow up and complete a warranty claim and we have still not heard back any status.

It also is a bit concerning that we are members of the paid maintenance subscription and nothing has been brought up that it is irregular that a machine that is less than 2 years old continues to malfunction and not work.

I 100% agree that the technicians do the work properly when they come and that the install of the machine was done well, but the customer ********************** has been poor, as well as the equipment that was sold to us. I understand this company did not make the A/C unit, but they have an obligation to sell properly working units.

    Sincerely,

    **** *******

My supposedly new AC unit was purchased a little over a year ago for ****. I have had nothing but problems with the unit. It's had to be serviced multiple times since I purchased it. When I complained to the owner that the unit should be replaced, he was insulting and told me it was because of my dogs. He also told me I should check the pipes under my house. First off, I would not do that; secondly, it's not even possible. One of the service people told me to put a bucket to collect the water, and another told me to pour liquid plumber in it. My old unit was over 30 years old and never had problems like this. I've complained to the owner several times and get nothing but rudeness. I've asked for the unit to be replaced and I have asked for my money back. The owner just places the blame on me. I have health issues and the heat

We have serviced and maintained this customers air conditioning system(s) for 17 years. There are two units. This is a duplex where a Mother and Daughter live.

Over the last four years many things in there house hold has changed. I agree the deterioration of there health, that is concerning, is an issue. The lack of mobility by the residence may be a contributing factor to the condition of the home.

As any good company will do, we keep service records of the work performed. A typical air conditioner is South ******* needs to have the drain pan and coils cleaned every 4-5 years. Due to the extreme filth and animal dander in this small 800 square foot villa/duplex we where cleaning and servicing the unit(s) more frequently.

The air conditioning systems work as manufactures design. They turn off when the condensate line is clogged. Some of our technicians recommend DIY remedies that are common practice for home owners.
