*********** uses this company for their deliveries. I had my sectional switched out 3 times. First time the furniture was dropped by the drivers. The second time the supervisor at Rooms To Go said the chaise fell in the truck. Our front door to our brand new home has been ruined due to the four deliveries. The paint was ripped off on the side of the door, the weather stripping on the bottom of the door was ripped, the paint came off the inside wall and there was a piece of wood on the frame of the door that was chipped off. This company agreed to paying us $200 for damages if we signed a fully executed settlement document. As of today we have seen no money nor agreement.Customer Answer

Horrible customer ********************** when handling damage complaints, as demonstrated by both my experience, and reading others' problems here.After complaining to Rooms To Go, the initial email came from an (apparently), unmonitored address, so my replies went unanswered (no bounce-back). Out of frustration weeks later, I forwarded my response to another address, which finally got a response. The *only* response so far.They request photos and videos over email, but do not have a supported file drop box for providing files larger than allowed files (like videos) over email.The problems:A delivery team got stuck in our yard, trying to turn around, tearing up an 8 foot by 13 foot section of sod, and destroying raspberry bushes as well. Previously, another ***** employed teams had no problems getting in and out with the same sized truck. We watched them drive off without a word.They proceeded to drive out down the edge of the driveway, tearing up more grass, and leaving a deep rut (plus huge clods of dirt from when they got stuck.The team used dollies to pull our delivery up our (admittedly aging) concrete stairs, destroying the leading edge of three steps, and didn't mention it to us. Again, their previous team caused no damage.They also left behind garbage - scattered cardboard scraps, plastic, and an empty/crushed ****** water bottle (we're not members, and the nearest is over an hour away, so definitely not ours).The furniture was assembled inside without incident, but we noticed that remnants of plastic parts bags were left sticking off the bottom of the chairs, tags hanging off, and that no attempt to level the furniture was made. So, we have $500 in cement damage (just patching, not replacing), hours of fixing the lawn, and lots that we had to clean up, with only a single response asking for more details and photos weeks after the fact.When your contractors s**** up, at least TRY to resolve the problem in a timely manner.Business Response

On March 4th, I was having my couch delivered from Rooms to go. The workers assembled my furniture in my family room. After assembling the furniture and they left the home, I noticed that my baseboard was damaged. My house is a new build and I did not have damage prior to the delivery. I reached out to the company and provided them with all of the documentation that they requested on March 13th they responded that they received my information on 03/12 and will follow up in 10 days. I have called and emailed several times, and they have not returned my calls or responded to emails , or extend any courtesy to follow up on the claim.IInitial Complaint

On 1/7/25 rooms to go se independent delivered furniture to my house. In the process of bringing furniture up the stairs they dropped the dresser and took out my wall, wooden stairs, wood flooring and locked a 2k painting off the wall. The driver and employee admitted to it and say they lost balance due to the assistants side. I sent all the pictures etc. to their claims **** with the repair costs. I even called rooms to go and filed the claim with them and the company while the drivers were still here. I continue to not get my claim resolved and want the money to fix my brand new 2 year old home damage and repurchase the painting they destroyed and that shattered all over the floor.Business Response

On Dec 19 they came to my house to make a delivery and the drivers damaged my wall because they did not unpack the boxes outside in front of my door . Instead they brought the **** big boxes inside the little room and while unpacking the furniture they caused damage to my wall. They need to pay for the damages to my wall and all the supplies and labor involved.Business Response

This delivery company delivered furniture to my residence and scratched my floors and damaged the entry to my front door. A claim was filed and **** ****** from this company offfered me 150 dollars to settle. When I explained these were laminate floors and that only the damaged pieces could not be removed and replaced. The entire floor would have to come out . She then offered me 350 or get a bid for only the damaged areas. I again explained that made no sense as the entire floor would have to be replaced and to respond. She has not and nor would she give me the address to where my lawsuit should be sent. I am rejecting this response because: althought the business has offred to settle for 1000 instead of the original amount the cost to replace floors and labor would be close to 20,000. they are demanding to get a estimate to replace the damaged areas only which is no diffrent than they orignially requested. I have told them over and over that you cannot replace just the damaged areas and that this is laminate flooring. It would all have to come up. they are saying they are only repsonsible for damaged areas so it looks like it will go to court as you cant damage a persons floors and expect to fix a corner of the entire area. They are playing games. They have a terrible reputation and it shows. The person who I am dealing with is unresponable and not interested in payiing anyhting. Its a game. Estimates cost money and they have no intentions of paying to fix the problem. Many future customers are going to be hurt by this company. I would never buy anything from Roomms to go again as they use this delivery company which is unethical.

On 19 July, Rooms To Go using Southeast Independent Delivery Services delivered furniture to our home that included bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture. During this delivery, the two individuals unboxed the furniture in our yard/driveway and tried to use a dolly to bring in the furniture. As a result, they damaged our brand-new floor and front door (we just closed on our new construction home). In addition, one of the delivery individuals cursed at my wife because they had to carry the remaining furniture into our home causing a hostile environment. Once my wife contacted Southeast Independent Delivery Services to complain about the damage and the unprofessionalism of the delivery people, the person on the phone was also arrogant and not willing to understand the situation and I feel took sides with the workers. We want this issue resolved and to be compensated based on the damages from the workers and hostile environment that occurred during the delivery. I do not know what the cost is for this delivery since I assume it is hidden within the sale price from Rooms to Go. All pics have been sent to Southeast Independent Delivery Services and discussed with them. This is the response i received from the vendor and now they will not respond back to me. "We have reviewed the submitted claim materials. Based on the information provided, it appears that ***** is not responsible for the alleged damages. There were pre-existing damages called in prior to delivery."If you have any additional information that shows the damages were caused by a ***** contract driver, feel free to forward for review. I had a delivery from Rooms To Go for a dining room table. They scratched my floors, I was working with Jaila to get the issue resolved. I sent lots of proof , they even had me sign a contract to agree to pay for 2,760$ for the damages. It's been a few weeks now, I requested updates from Jaila twice, she said she would reach out to management and I still haven't heard on when I will receive the payment.Business Response

On 09/05/2024 A southeast independent delivery truck delivering for Rooms to go struck two electrical poles out on the side of the street. Causing damage to two homes. I am an electrical contractor which made the repairs to both homes. The driver admitted wrong. The police came, made a report. Finding them in the wrong. Was told to send invoices along with pictures into Southeast independent delivery office for payment,which I did. We keep getting the runaround from southeast independent delivery service. More than once we have sent in the invoices along with pictures that they requested. We have been lied to and told several things that did not happen or just flat out lies. This was happening during the last hurricane and the homeowners were out of power for three days while we made emergency repairs. As of 10/03/2024. I have not received a return email or call or payment from Southeast independent delivery service. I keep sending emails and making calls but no one responds. If someone does answer they just give me some excuse and pass me on to someone else. I have contacted everyone that I could find the phone number for hoping to resolve this before attorney steps in.Business Response
