I bought a 2001 BMW Z3 from this dealer over a month ago. Full disclosure, I bought it remotely from Oregon and the dealer told me the vehicle was being sold as-is. I asked the dealership if there were any known issues with the vehicle. And I was told this was absolutely the most pristine car of this make and model they have seen. So, I take full responsibility for being so trusting of a used car dealer. But, in this day and age, with companies like carmax and carvana, if a dealer cannot be trusted to put their reputation on a car they are selling remotely, they cannot be trusted to be honest with their customers when dealing in person. Fast forward to when the car was delivered up here in Oregon, the car's check engine light came on when we started the car for the first time. Things can happen. So I did not stress too much. So I took the car to one of the most highly reputed Bimmer shops here in Portland. Upon diagnosis, the mechanic told me it will be approximately $1500 to fix the check engine light. Also, the wiper fluid system was clogged up. That was another $175. The mechanic told me straight up that someone had fiddled with the cars computer recently. The port where they had to attach the computer to scan for codes wasnt even put back together completely. The whole thing was just left strewn around. I called the dealership to see if they knew about the codes. After numerous voicemails and email, I was contacted by Marcin. He offered me $400 to go away. I asked him if we could atleast meet half-way with the bill as I wanted to take some responsibility as well for the situation. That was the last I heard from Marcin. He stopped replying to my emails and phone calls. I am writing this review to make this dealerships customers fully aware of how they will be treated once the dealer has their money. Its not even about the money at this point. I just want others to make an informed decision when dealing with this car dealer. Avoid this place like the plague.
