My neighbor is using Coast to Coast to build a pool and their crews are so disrespectful to the surrounding homes. Viewing my security camera, I see them setup chairs in my yard and using my pool equipment as a table. Also, without permission, they hung a tarp on my pool screen by attaching wires to anything they could on my house and putting a stake on the far end. Then I see a worker lay down on the tarp hung from my pool cage and another worker sitting down on the tarp and leaning back against my pool cage. When they finished they left a spool of wire laying in the yard, wire still wrapped around my house and pool equipment area and the stake in the ground. Now I have to worry about any weakening or damage to my pool cage and equipment. I notified my neighbor who contracted with Coast to Coast, took pictures, then removed everything from my property. I built with another pool company and had no issues.Coast to Coast Pools Response

Respectfully Ms. ******** We have been in contact with you weekly/daily addressing your concerns. Ironically when you wanted to build a pool your neighbor graciously gave you access to your backyard. Now that they would like the same courtesy, it has been a battle since day one. Rarely do we have so much contact and conversation with someone we don't have a contract with (a neighbor), but we have tried very patiently to keep you informed of the progress. We agree, we have went as far as putting tarps up on YOUR property to try and meet your expectations and demands. As we have repeated MULTIPLE times, once the project is finished, we will do a complete clean up and final grade of the area.
We apologize workers took a lunchtime break and sat down in the shared easement; we did not mean to inconvenience your view of your neighbor's house. Project is scheduled to be finished with a 4 week build time. We are meeting the guidelines and expectations of our customer, your neighbor, and following all the rules of your homeowner's association. As we know you have been out of town for the build, and all this information is provided to you by your cameras, we hope to be finished with the project by next week. We hope this helps with your frustration and do apologize.

To Coast to Coast Pools I reject your response because it is BS. You have never address any concerns with me because I have never talked to you. Yes our neighbors granted us permission for us to put a pool in but our ************ respected our neighbors Property on both sides of our house so no Damage was done to their property. You are also wrong saying that it is a shared easement because your workers were not on the property line trying to stay in our neighbors yard at all but clear up against our house. Putting in Stakes for Tarps up close to our Pool Cage and Wires all around our Pool Equipment on the side of our House without any Permission. We have never made any demands to you because we have never had any conversations with you so you are Lying. Stay out of our yard and any Damage that has been done by your Coast to Coast ************ will be held Responsible to replace. Also, I was not out of town but was at work while your workers were hanging out against our House is the Shade. I have saved all of my Video Clips from my Cameras as proof of your workers disrespecting our Property. Also, our neighbor **** who works from her home was very embarrassed and upset to see what your workers had done when my wife got home from work to show her so cut the **** with all of your Lying. Your ******* should have kept your crew inline but he didn't. Your Company Coast to Coast Pools has a lot of really Bad Reviews out on the Web and I can totally understand why after the way your Workers Acted.Review from Jay H

We talked to every pool company in the Sarasota area and when I say every I mean every. Coast to Coast was the only one who truly took the time to help us understand the process. Once the pool was built we had several issues with pavers sinking and an issue with our cage, which took a little time to fix, but Coast to Coast stayed in touch and made it happen during the busy holiday season, which was awesome. Be careful who you trust with your pool build, we are glad we got Coast to Coast.

Coast To Coast Pools built our pool this summer and let me tell you. Timing is everything, apparently the Covid backlogs had just ended and the Coast to Coast team was awesome. From to office Staff to even people like ****** and ******, who both literally treated me and children like family. We could not be happier. I see some negative reviews on here, and it really seems like most of them are coming from people who built pools with their houses during covid. I don't know many companies who didn't struggle through those times, and many didn't survive it. For the leadership and staff of a company the size of Coast to Coast to take the time they did to make us feel important says a lot about a the kind of business they are. Our pool is amazing and so is Coast to Coast. Thanks you guys!Review from Michael S

Poor Service -- period! Paid for a year of weekly pool cleaning service upfront. what a waste. Since they had my money -- no incentive to perform the service as hired. After the 1st couple visits in January, no one showed up for almost 2 months. I guess they can't keep employees. called several times to speak to manager/owner -- never returned 1 call. not sure they ever vacuumed my pool. I did it 5 times this year. Chemicals were a mess. Just had them tested by an independent company and they told me things were way off. Had a list of 4 things that need adjusted. I wasted my money with these guys this year. Don't waste yours. They will not be servicing my pool in ****!!!Coast to Coast Pools Response

We apologize our pool cleaning service did not meet your expectations. It is a completely different division from our construction department.
Nonetheless, we NEVER make a customer sign a contract or ANYTHING that keeps them from being "forced" into using our services. The ONLY reason to pre-pay is because we give discounts or offer a month for free. Although we would like to remedy or correct and issues you may have, and also salvage the relationship, please don't feel you're trapped into using our pool service.
As far as taking your pool water to be tested and "it being off"....there are many factors to take into consideration. How long did it ride around in the car before tested? Where did you take the sample from? Lastly, we've never witnessed a customer walking into a retail pool store and them saying "you're water is perfect, you don't need to buy anything"....that's not the business they're in.
Regardless, if you feel the need to cancel your service, we would be happy to refund the remaining months of your prepaid request and only charge what service would have cost to date. We apologize we did not meet your expectations and will pass along your thoughts to your pool technician.

This company is highly unethical. We closed on our home nearly 11 months ago and our pool is still incomplete. It was supposed to be complete upon closing.Review from Vicki B.

Coast to Coast is a great company upfront, but if any issues subsequent to completion- they are no where to be found. Issues were identified during warranty and the work they did was deficient and the issues continue. Specifically, pavers rusting and pavers sinking. They have been hiding behind the claim the warranty period has expired, which makes no sense since the issues were identified within the warranty period and/or a result of deficient work. For weeks now we have been trying to get someone to return our calls and/or respond to our e mails. There are numerous homes with Coast pools in our development that are experiencing this issue- so its a known problem. There just is no excuse for not returning calls, responding to e mails, and addressing known defects for which Coast to Coast is liable.Review from Valerie M

Where do we begin? Coast to Coast is an awful company! For starters **** (designer) is quite abrasive. She kept calling my husband OCD and making fun of him at our meeting all while asking us to spend tens of thousands of dollars. She then drops the ball and doesnt get us our paperwork. She shows us one piece of paper that:1. Does not show grout color 2. Does not show screen material 3. Does not show s**** material 4. Does not show how many jets in spa Our choices were:1. Pebbletec 2. Paver color 3. Tile 4. Shape of pool/spa We never had any other optionsWe move in and our cage isnt even installed. They then have CRA install our cage and they get shards of metal all inside our pool (that we cut our feet on and had to clean up for months) and place the cage on top of pavers that have plastic baby gate plugs in them and put a cheap screen in open view. We couldnt even use our spa because they didnt have the gas hooked up to our home. We then go through *********** which was an absolute joke! The kid ****** realizes all of our pool equipment is in backwards and has to scramble to fix them! We have had broken tiles, lied to about cleanings, sinking pavers, attitudes, wrong materials, wrong lights installed, damage by subs, bubblers off centered. Who doesnt center the bubblers like in the drawings? We literally had one spraying the pool cage! We had our screen door ripped by their pool tech and never refunded. They blame our screen ripping on the hurricane. Funny how no one elses screens ripped except the two houses who had the cheap thin screen put in! The list goes on and on! The worst is our spa that in the longest wall doesnt even have one single jet! A $9,000 spa and 4 jets, what a joke. Non-responsive, liars, rude, completely unprofessional! They dont have a contract or our signature in anything to prove we signed off on anything. They need to be held accountable for being such an awful company!Review from dana d

I am so thankful to have hired Coast to Coast pools for my project. Two of my neighbors had each hire a different company and they are still not finished. From start to finish I always had a good feeling. Thank you!
