    Reserved a room for 2 nights was charged ****** plus addition 70 dollars that would be refundable at the end of our stay. Got into our room it smelt like marijuana. Cigarette smoke, the door didnt even close right with a huge gap in the door frame. The beds were horrible like caving in and completely breaking down on the sides. The one bed did not even have a blanket or comforter on it. Smelt the cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke all night causing my baby to have a breathing problem since he is allergic to smoke. We left early morning and checked out asking for a refund of money and was told that the manager would contact me. Checked my account later and they took out an additional ***** out of my account. When I contacted them she said that it was refunded and I explained that it was not refunded that they took out additional money. When she checked she stated oh sorry about that I will have to contact customer service and have them fix this so I will call you back in ****************************************************************************************************************** 15 minutes. When I explained that I was to have gotten a call previously and waited for an hour this should not be the issue. I asked for a corporate number and was not able to get that number. I want my money back.

    Hello, I am filing a complaint against this hotel I stayed at on January 20, 2024.My brother and I flew into ******** on this date in January and booked a room at the Sleep Inn, Choice Hotel.The outside looked great! When we arrived at our room, it was a filthy mess. The bedsheets looked as though they had not been changed from the previous guests. The ** did not turn on the connection was checked. No hot water to take a shower. Bathroom sink had ***** hair clippings from the previous guest. Lamp shades were full of rust and dirt. Our room was located on the second floor. The sliding window had no safety locks. I was able to open the large sliding window all the way, leaving enough room for an adult or small child to tumble out two stories. There was also musty smell in the room.The noise level was awful. All night, people wandering the halls speaking loud, yelling and fighting. I was honestly in fear of my life and too afraid to leave the room. Front desk was no help, very rude. The front door entering the hotel was broken. You had to manually open the sliding doors which were very heavy. Broken glass as the entrance.The room was booked under my brother's name, ********************** main complaint is the window in our room not having a safety lock where someone could tumble to their death.Please look into this facility. Thank you

    Front door was not working because we had a previous guest hit it. We had called our door people to come and fix it. I'm not sure where the guest saw the glass because that's not the reason as why the door was broken. It's been fixed. Any rooms with rust on lamp shades are being taken down and waiting for new ones to come in so they can be replaced. ***** did't let anyone know about this issues while the were here.

    they did not address the rest of the issues in my email. Most importantly, was the window issue with no safety latch.

    The front desk was rude, and I was not going to discuss anything with them in fear of retaliation!

    I came to choice hotels for a two night stay at the sleep in Dec 6-8. Check in took a bit although attendant was friendly and thanked me for not dining the bell. Room assigned was #*** on the first floor. Upon entrance to the room the lamps had no shades and exposed bulbs on them. They were non functioning but very hot to the touch and burned my hand when I turned on the switch. I looked to see if they were plugged in and there were rotten chicken wings, c*** roaches, and empty fireball whisky bottles behind the nightstand. No towels in the room either this was all reported to the desk and the maid came and cleaned the room and maintenance fixed the lamps. During my stay 12/07 12:09pm with dnd sign on room housekeeper banging over and over again on room door I opened the door and said we have dnd and pointed to it and she told us to go check out. Hispanic female who would not give me her name 12/07. Arrived at room at 628pm no housekeeping service went to front desk associate was too busy FaceTime to talk to me and when I finally got her attention she said housekeeping is only allowed for a three day stay and was rude and put off that I asked for towels. Very inhospitable not what I have grown to expect as a choice platinum member Large dogs over 20lbs on property and barking while nobody in room near us very loud pet owner was having an arguement with the front desk stating he only left his dog unattended for 40 minutes. Toilet ran entire time non stop. Only provided one roll of toilet paper, and was given hand towels from the front desk after a complaint for my second night stay. Never received a welcome gift No rewards as a platinum member I request that this two night stay be refunded I paid ****** points my first night and **** points plus $34 for the second night. I did not want to have another confrontation with the young girl at the front desk but called 7 times over the course of an hour no satisfaction. Checkout was ok please refund

    I should have know when we drove up to the property that we should have ran for the *****. But we decided to give it a chance trying to understand the fact that they were under renovations. The first room we were given, we were told the tv didnt work, which wasnt an issue, we we were offered to change the room in the morning and their would be a note added to our account. We entered the room and at first glance it was ok. We were in our room for a few mins before the front desk knocked on our door to let us know we could move to bother room where the tv worked (we wanted to watch the World Cup) We got our keys to the 2nd room and to say that this room was utterly disgusting isnt enough. it was so awful we asked to go back to our first room. We went back to the first room and I decided to check out the mattress just because I couldnt understand how poor this hotel actually was and at first glance it looks ok, and especially after seeing the 2nd room, it gave us the inclination that this room was worse than we expected, and I couldnt believe that there were stains and left over dead bed bugs on the mattress. I mean it was disgusting. Initially I was told that we could not get a refund because policy is 24hr cancellation, we were there for about an hour and hadnt unpacked or anything and I told the front desk that I was on the phone placing a complaint with choice hotels, and was advised that they would make the correction. I placed the complaint with choice hotels who state that they will file the complaint and if Im not satisfied with the mangers response, which included a request for reimbursement I could call choice hotels back in 3-5 business days. When we were walking out of the hotel I was given a print out showing that I was not charged, but as of today still have a pending charge on my card. This really shouldnt be a choice hotel because people would not choose to stay here once they see the conditions the hotel is in. I want a refund.

    Guest was never charged for there stay. What is being seen is a pre-auth that is released within 5-7 business days of there check out.
