I have been a patient with FIRST PHYSICIANS GROUP (FPG) since 2021. I have had online access to the patient portal and have reviewed my records/vitals as recently as February 2025, but I was DENIED access to my medical records 3/3/25. *** has recently upgraded the patient portal system. In the process, FPG LOST my medical records. This month, I received a bill as a NEW patient, which I am NOT. Yesterday, 3/3, When I used my password, I received a written notification which stated my password was invalid! I was asked to click on a link to reregister. When I followed instructions to reregister, my patient record was populated with OLD medical history form INTERCOASTAL, NOT FPG. I CANNOT ACCESS my healthcare records from ***. I am worried about a security breach within *** and the loss of my medical information. I have tried several times to contact anyone regarding the security breach. I have left message that I am NOT a NEW patient and I am refusing to pay a bill as a NEW patient. Today, 3/4, I was told someone would call me back.

In Odessa Texas, walked in had a very professional ultrasound. Two and a half days later still no results forwarded to my Doctor. Rude classless when I called and asked what the hold up was. Going to file a complaint with Medicare and my Insurance carrier. They put me on hold for 25 minutes and refused to give me the radiologist number and again total Cattle Car Service of the office staff. Classes incompetence!

I visited First Physician office at ********************* for my physical exam. When I walk to the office woman at the desk informed me that doctor is not there and they were trying to call me twice and they left the message. That was a lie. Nobody called and nobody left any messages. People working in this office are completely failure and disaster.Whole service people should be replaced. No smiling, go away attitude in ******* is not acceptable.

My referral was sent to them (even though my insurance does not require a referral, the doctors in this office require a referral - how silly… are we back in the 1980s *** world??) and after waiting 2 days I called the office. I was then rudely told that that their office reviews every referral and then “when they are ready they will call me”. Fast forward 1 weeks and I get a call back saying they are ready to schedule me. During the scheduling call I’m asked if I had a recent colonoscopy and that I’ll need to send those results. If I don’t have a current one (5 years) then they wanted my PCP to order one and once that’s done they will schedule me for an appointment. This is where things get weird… my condition has nothing to do with my insides. Not trying to give you too many details, but a similar example would be your doctor telling you they need an x-ray of your head when you need a hernia repaired… Then I’m told I’ll have to see a GI doctor prior to seeing the colo rectal surgeon…. This practice is a great example of why healthcare is so expensive in the United States!!!! Your going to waste my time and the already busy GI doctor so you can gatekeep the colo rectal surgon? Summary: 1.) They require a referral when insurance does not require it (that means you have to schedule an appointment with your PCP - pay for that visit and typically wait a week) 2.) You end up waiting a week +for them to call you to schedule the appointment. 3.) They require an expensive procedure (colonoscopy) just to see the specialist (waste of money and it takes 2-3 months). 4.) They require you to see a GI doctor (let’s be honest most GI doctors are scheduled out months). 5.) Finally you see the correct specialist…. That works out to the following: -4 Doctor Appointments -1 potentially medically unnecessary expensive test(s) -Deductible & Co-Payments for multiple unnecessary doctor appointments and colonoscopy. -Delay in seeing the correct specialist (1-6 months).
