    On 4/7-8/2023, Gator Seamless Gutterz installed a ************ from my house to the pool cage. The owner *********************** and his crew damaged 80 feet of my brand new tile roof drip edge. The purposefully sliced the drip edge so badly that I have to have it replaced by the roofing company. We only found out they damaged it. My husband and I both expressed how upset we were to ***** and his response was that he stands by his work, but did nothing to fix the gutter. We had our roofing company come inspect the drip edge and they couldnt believe how badly it was damaged. That is because it is damaged beyond repair. It will cost us $5600 to have the drip edge replaced. The super gutter cost is $3800. I am using the money I would have paid *********************** to repair my roof. ***** owes me $1800. I have been in communication with ***** and his secretary, ***** telling them about the roof inspection and the cost to replace the drip edge. And asking for them to forfeit the $3800 and pay an additional $1800 to cover the cost of replacing the drip edge. They said they could repair it. The fact is, they cant. When you see the attached photos you will see why it has to be replaced.

    We made many attempts to replace not repair the drip edge.. ******** would not answer any of our calls and even denied ** access to get in the gate.. There was no damage to her new tile roof, just the aluminum drip edge that had to be cut to get the ************ behind it.. She was very happy  with all our work through out the entire week we were there and then when its time to pay the bill, she ignores all my calls!!! Then I get an email stating that we owe her money and she doesnt want to hear from us unless its to Pay her!!!

    I am rejecting this response because:

    ***** and his crew purposefully damaged our new roof drip edge slicing/cutting it to shreds to access the old gutter. He didnt even discuss the issue of this with me or my husband as we would have declined him cutting the drip edge up and would not have gotten a super gutter.
    Another crew from gator seamless gutterz installed my front gutters and I was happy with them; And I paid $2890 for those gutters right after that work was completed. I wasnt discussing this matter over the phone but rather via email because I want record of the conversations. I explained this to them. Also, I had to authorize entry access to ***** the day he came to our home to discuss the matter. No one can enter the neighborhood without prior approval. The security guard called me to get it and I gave it. 
    I was sickened by the damage caused by ***** to the roof along my patio/lanai. ***** could not have replaced the drip edge because a couple of rows of cement tiles had to be removed as well caps and underlayment, they had to be replaced, remortered, etc

    ***** is not a licensed roofer, nor is he a licensed gutter person. To ensure my new roof warranty was not voided the drip edge had to be replaced in its entirety along the patio (80 linear feet) and it had to be replaced by the company that replaced my roof to secure the warranty. A licensed roofing company I might add. 
    Not only did ***** damage my drip edge, he and his crew sliced one of the screens on my lanai, they left dirty/greasy finger prints all over the white frame, they left metal shavings everywhere. 

    *************** me and my husband $1800. It cost us $5600 to repair the roof. The super gutter cost was $3800. The difference is $1800. I just paid $74,000 to put on a new roof on 03/2022 and then 2 weeks later had to pay another $5600 to repair the damage ***** caused. He owes me $1800.
