I reached out to **** (formerly known as Angie's ***** looking for a driveway installer. In turn they reached out to the contractors on their list and I was ultimately contacted by ********************* with Epoxit Construction on Dec 20, 2022. I hired him on Dec 21, 2022 to demolish my current driveway and and install a new driveway. At that time, I paid Exposit $6000.00 via credit card. During the course of the next 20 days, I had 12 conversations with ***** regarding the procedures for permitting, the demolition and the new install. Suffice it to say that I started doing research because some of the things he was telling me seemed odd and I found out (by calling the County) that what I was being told by him regarding the permitting process just wasn't true. When I questioned him, he finally said that he wouldn't be able to do the job. He also said that his credit card processing equipment was faulty and that he never ran my card for the $6000.00. That apparently is also not true because when my January statement came in, the $6000.00 charge was on there. I called and immediately disputed it, but here, now 5 months later, it is still on my credit card statement. He never answers the phone and his voicemail is full so no one can leave a message. He should be arrested! Thank you, ***********************Initial Complaint

EpoxIt was paid $1250 on March 28th in partial payment for a total charge of $2050 for completion of garage, stamp finish to slide and epoxy and polymeric sand for the pavers around our pool.On March 30th, they were paid the remaining balance of $800 although the work was not completed but they requested payment to pay their employees. On April 1st, they were paid an additional $1050. This was not an agreed upon charge, it exceeded the proposed $2050 without explanation. Then he requested an additional $434 for polymeric sand, which was also paid on April 1st.On April 3rd, I contacted ExpoxIt that nearly 2/3 of the slide was not finished with stamp and that the service was not what we had agreed upon. On April 4th, I again contacted ExpoxIt that the finish was not as they had promised. Additionally, although we had purchased the polymeric sand and paid for services of placement and cleanup ....far beyond what they had quoted, they have never returned to the job or provide the services as agreed upon.Since Friday April 7th, I have texted six different times and left two voice mail messages requesting a response and resolution of this matter. On Monday April 10th, I provided a ************************************* prior to contacting the BBB.I have text messages and payment history for all of the above.Since that time the business has not returned any communication.Per our agreement, they must complete the stamp concrete work they began and return the $1483 over payment for services never rendered.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract with EpoxIT Construction LLC on 12/19/2022 to replace the bottom portion of my driveway which is cracked and uplifted and is a liability issue. The total amount of the contract is $3082. and I paid $1500 which was required so I could be put on their schedule. The first opening for them to start the job was on 1/16/2023 which was longer than I wanted to wait however I was told they would try to get the job started before that date. The contract stated; removal of dirt, grass, concrete and hauled, a delivery fee and a permit fee. Fresh pour concrete mix **** psi with fiber 6 inches for the first 10 feet and 5 inches after that. I called EpoxIT twice on 1/19/2023 to find out why the job wasn't started. They gave me an excuse regarding another job and rain. The job was rescheduled for 2/16 and 2/23. I followed up with calls since the job was not started on those dates. I called again on 3/1/2023 and I received a text in reply to my call, " the job was on the schedule for 3/3/2023". The job was never started. I called again to find out why the job wasn't started but my phone call was never returned. I paid for the damaged drive to be replaced and the job was never started and they won't return my call. EpoxIT Construction LLC has not resolved my issue. If they're not going to do the job in the coming week I would like my down payment back. The invoice number is INV681.Initial Complaint

On January 18,2023 we hired ******************** company EpoxIt LLC to do a driveway for **, install new windows in our mobile home, and doing some rock design landscaping around the property. He gave ** the cost of all projects as $8573.00. He asked for $4000 up front which I wrote out a check to him not a company name as he requested. He said driveway would be started February 6. One guy started digging out the driveway a few days later. Then a few days later went by. Nobody came back. We had a pile of dirt and grass on our lawn. We kept asking ***** to have someone come back and work on driveway. In the meantime he asked me for $946 more for the windows as he said he got an email from the company that the price went up. I gave him that check again made out to him Driveway was poured by a concrete company Feb 16 Nothing has been done since. It wasnt sealed, crack lines not done, concrete all over grass along with rake, shovel, his boots, his boots, and garbage bag of stuff on property. He asked me to pay for the rest of the concrete the day it was done. I told him when all jobs are done he would get the rest of the money. I am copying what our conversations have been OK **** when can we expect you to come over and complete that driveway and pick up your tools? Oh and also you need to bring me my check Paid $**** Windows $2440 Concrete $**** Total concrete price $**** Total concrete paid **** Concrete owed $1854 Concrete was **** you paid **** $586 is the difference OK **** when can we expect you to come over and complete that driveway and pick up your tools? Oh and also bring me a check But I paid for the driveway to be done. You were taking back the windows and getting your money back supposedly and you owe me money but the driveway is not done its a mess. Several people from the board have come by and make comments as to when our driveway is going to be done. They also have your name of the your company that did not finish Nothing done by todayInitial Complaint
