I will first start with the latest issue -- months after graduation. I was enrolled most recently in the Part 141 Instrument Flight School where I graduated in August. After paying all bills ahead of time and always having a positive balance, my account was closed with a zero balance upon my graduation. I received a paid in full letter and a congratulations on my graduation. Fast forward to receiving communication that they now want another $1,000 from me. I asked why they are requesting another $1,000 and they are saying it is because of my Instrument check ride. It should be noted that I paid my hourly instructor rate, my plane rental, and the ridiculous "pre/post" that they tack on to every single activity at the school -- which I have not seen at any other flight school. I asked them to explain how I am paying for the instructor's time, the plane rental, AND another random $1,000 that they now want after my account was closed and I graduated. They could not find any way to justify the fee so they sent me this attached fee sheet. As you'll see on the fee sheet, the only $1,000 fee we ever pay is if we have to re-test. I never had to complete a re-test. When I asked for further clarification, they just can't find a way to justify the fee. This is surely the most expensive school around, they treat the students (and instructors from what I've seen) like garbage, and they just seek to squeeze as much money as possible from each student at the expense of the student's training and the school's reputation.I have corresponded directly with ***** ****, the Chief Flight Instructor and he assured me that he would look into this. Not only did he not look into it and respond to me, he sent me off to collections without any notice or communication from our correspondence.I paid L3Harris $50,000 for my training and the extra $1,000 isn't the issue, as I've explained to them. How many more times after I pay the school and have my account closed are they going to keep...
