      Melissa from DEVORAH Public Adjusters was referred over to us for an insurance claim on our home due to Hurricane Ian. First meeting with her was a no call no show. Second meeting was a pressured meeting to sign. Questions asked as we have been through this before were 1. Is this a straight forward claim - She answered yes 2. If something goes wrong what are the steps- She Answered we can hire a lawyer and or be released and you will have to pay for you repairs.
      This started Oct 11th from first contact. On Nov 15th a text message was sent to see if any information or follow up had been made.
      First and Second inspections were denied , we asked to be released from the contract after speaking with a lawyer. Nov 22 we asked to be released from the contract. She stated let's wait until after Thanksgiving. We followed up on Nov 28th and she stated that she would get back to us after speaking to her lawyer. Nov 29th she hadn't gotten back to us so we text and she stated she will not be releasing us. Even though she stated prior to signing this would be an option. Not only pressuring clients after a hurricane but now not holding up to your word is bad business
