      Hello, I contacted ******* at Comegys Ins in February regarding what my reduction might be if I put a new roof on. We spoke for a bit and she pulled up my policy stating that she only has what it would be at 6 months which is around $1,400. She stated that she would need to contact the carrier for an exact amount. She emailed me at the end of Feb. and gave me an exact amount at 6 months, which was really close to $1,400. I doubled that figure myself for a year. I then decided to put a new roof on my home based on her factual evidence Georgia supplied /emailed me. Georgia knew all about my decision to put on a roof based on our numerous conversations. ******* told me to send her a copy of the purchase agreement, which I did, then she told me to give her a copy of the wind test, before she can give me the exact amount of savings. I was a little skeptical because she kept saying that she needed these things before she could give me the actual savings. A couple of days ago we received an email from *******, not with the amount but rather telling ** that we won't be receiving any reductions because we already used up our roof credit. Lastly my roof doesn't get a credit because it is 17 yrs old & she had to have known that they wouldn't cover it. They gave her the exact amount and she made sure not to tell me until the roof was finished. Thank you

      **************** has been a client of Comegys Insurance Agency for several years and we appreciate that he has allowed us to service his insurance needs.  We always put the customer first and do our best to ensure that every opportunity to provide service between the Insurance Company and the Insured be smooth and to the satisfaction of the insured.  **************** did contact Georgia at Comegys in February asking what savings he would receive if he put on a new roof.  Georgia called the Insurance company and was advised his credit would be around $1400.00 on the current policy and she so advised ****************.   He was also advised along the way we would need certain documents to submit to the insurance company once the new roof installation was completed.  On 4/4/2023,Georgia was advised by **************** the new roof was done and by 4/14/2023, she received and submitted all the required documents to the Insurance Company to request the new roof credit.  Unfortunately, on 4/19/2023, we received an email back from the Insurance Company stating there would be no credit available and the information we received back in February was not correct.  This of course upset ** and ****************  Having over 40 years of experience in the insurance business, I disagreed with the company and advised **************** on 4/21/2023 that we were able to show the insurance company their mistake and get this corrected.  Comegys provided *************** a revised coverage page showing his reduction in his premium on his current policy.  As a last confirmation, we called the Insurance Company on 5/8/2023, and confirmed that the credit amount was $1388.00,and a check had been mailed to him from the Insurance Company.  We have apologized for the mistake made by the Insurance Company, but feel Comegys stepped up to the plate immediately and got this resolved on behalf of ****************.  Thank you. ******************************* ******, President.
