1 starWe have waited two months after filing a claim. They told us the inspector had called off the face of the earth and after 6 weeks they assigned another inspector. We still have not resolved this problem. I have left messages after message with no response! This is unbelievable!Review fromL. R.

1 starI canceled my Neptune renewal policy after they charged my account one month before the existing policy expired. This transaction was done without my authorization because Neptune had my credit card info from the prior year. I was told by Neptune that it would take 30 days to refund me, which is ridiculous since the renewal policy is not even effective for another month. Neptune is committing financial fraud by using the premium in advance and earning interest on the money before refunding it. I will contact the Attorney General's Office to investigate this scheme. I am sure I am not the only customer they have done this to.

Thank you for your feedback. Neptune only auto bills your policy if you opt in to doing so. We send numerous renewal messages and notices that your policy will be renewing and auto billed, giving you the option to change your payment or cancel the renewal. You can cancel your renewal and have the payment refunded, as you have already done.L. R.

That is a blatant lie. I still haven't received my refund, which has been nearly two weeks. My bank is telling me Neptune could have easily refunded my account to close this claim, but because Neptune has not done so, my money is earning interest in someone else's account. I have to wait 30 days. This is where the fraud comes from: using someone else's money to earn interest while depriving me of my money. Today is April 30, 2025, and I still have not received my money. The Bank told me that Neptune has 45 days to respond before the bank takes further steps. Neptune is making me wait at least 45 days to recoup my money. For the record, there is no dispute. I canceled the renewal policy by choice. To have to wait up to 90 days to return my money is an abuse and should be investigated by the proper authorities. Neptune should be ashamed of itself. They are a crooked company.Review fromCelimar D

2 starsIve had a very disappointing experience with Neptune Insurance. A claim I filed many months ago is still unresolved, and the process has been marked by long delays, poor communication, and a lack of follow-through. Were now stuck waiting on essential work to begin, but the claim hasnt been reopened to include critical remediation costs, despite multiple attempts to get answers. The customer service has been inconsistent, and getting clear updates has been incredibly frustrating. I expected more from a company that specializes in flood insurance. If you're considering Neptune, be aware that the support you receive after filing a claim may not match the level of service youd expect when purchasing a policy.Neptune Flood Incorporated

5 starsHad to cancel our flood insurance because we sold our home. Neptune said to email them a copy of our settlement statement and we could get a pro-rated refund of our premium and they were right. I emailed it to them, and they reached back out the same day with a document to e-sign, and after e-signing they promptly gave us our refund (back on our CC). Thankfully, we never had to file a claim with them, so I can't speak to that, but as for getting our refund, they kept their word and were prompt about it.Neptune Flood Incorporated

5 starsGreat website and very easy to negotiate. The process to finalize flood insurance took only a few minutes. Their food insurance is very reasonably priced and coverage the same as the government provided flood insurance. I am very happy that Neptune Flood was recommended to me.
