On February 17, 2020 I purchased a Maytag washer and a Centricity 5 year Appliance Protection Plan from Grand Appliance - Genesee Depot, WI.  On October 26, 2023 I contacted Centricity because the washer was leaking water into the tub and had a terrible knock. On November 13, 2023 ******* ******* ******* came to repair the leak and ordered a transmission, motor and coupler for the knock. They returned on January 8th, 2024 to install the transmission, motor and coupler. After ******* ******* ******* left, I attempted to use the washer when it started alarming, smoking and arcing. I immediately called Centricity and they told me to call Whirlpool Safety, and in the meantime Centricity would put in a rework order for service, the soonest they could be back was January 19, 2024. I called Whirlpool on 1/9/24, 1/10/24, and 1/11/24 to let them know of the safety issue and was told to call back after ******* has a diagnosis on 1/19 for resolution. (I want to note that I called ******* on 1/10/24 and there was no work order in their system). ******* came out to diagnosis on 1/19/24 and ordered a wiring harness and computer on 1/22/24. To date, I have contacted Centricity on 1/30, 2/2, 2/5, 2/6 and the parts have not been located. I spoke to a supervisor at Centricity on 2/6/24 and he said he would call Whirlpool for a parts status and tech update, and speak with his support team. He never called me back. I called Centricity on 3/27/24 and they told me the parts are still not located they would call back on 3/29/24 with an update. I haven't received a call back. The lack of communication, poor service, and inconvenience of not having a washer for 3+ months is unacceptable.
