    Matt, the owner, came out to our residence on 6/23 & bid to complete work on our Master bedroom, Master Bathroom, walk-in closet inside home plus exterior work of remove, install new soffit and facia as well as install new gutters for our home. The total bid came out to be $7,784. $3,100 of that total was for the Master Bedroom install of vapor barrier (2 exterior walls), furring strips(2 exterior walls), insulation (2 exterior walls), drywall on3 walls and drywall only on ceiling. It also included purple board in Master bathroom on 3 walls + ceiling and vapor barrier & insulation on one exterior wall. Additionally the quote should have included the master walk-in closet exterior back wall vapor barrier, insulation + drywall, plus a estimated 4x4 drywall only install on interior wall in closet. All drywall should be tapped, mudded, & sanded. Texture & Paint was not included, hardy backer in shower also not included in quote to be done by owner. 6/29, Jessica, part owner, informed us estimated arrival was 7/1 between 8-9:30am with a phone call of arrival time 30 minutes prior and that install would be complete on 7/1, with sanding possible to be finished on the following Monday 7/3. 7/1, Matt and his worker Trent showed up at 10:08am and left our residence at 7:40pm. Not fully prepared to complete the work needed having to lend them tools to work throughout the day. 7/2 we messaged with concerns of the work completed needing it to be addressed before proceeding. 7/3 his worker showed up unprepared needing guidance from us on how to finish the work. At 330 Matt showed up and when I asked when he would be completing the Master closet he proceeded to get upset & leave the job site stating he knew we would be shady and it was never quoted. We have attempted to make it fair to compensate them for the unfinished job we were left with but instead the bid is changed to include gas and labor with a threat of a lien. We were told they did not pull permits we would have to.
