    On May 23rd I hired ***********************, a contractor for Global Projects Support LLC, who did hurricane *** repairs for my father in law and my son's mother in law. I paid him$5600 up front for labor with a total labor charge of $7900 to remodel my master bath. All materials supplied and paid for by homeowner. **** told me the job should take no more than 3 weeks. By the end of June the job was still about 50% completed. I implored **** to please put more effort into finishing the job quicker. The master bath shower was the largest expense. High end shower features and imported Italian porcelain subway tiles. Once the old shower was taken down to the studs, it was time to install the new shower valves. I asked **** if he needed me to higher a plumber, he said he could do the work. He replumbed all the water features and valves, told me he tested it and everything worked. Closed up the wall and laid the expensive tile. A couple weeks later, I went and tested the shower settings. 2 settings operated the body sprays and the 3rd the showerhead. One of the settings was dedicated for the rain head which would not work. I told **** and he assured me they would find the problem. Last week I asked about the shower again and also complained that his employees were making sloppy tile cuts for the porcelain tile floor. I asked if we could meet and discuss. He came late last Wednesday night unannounced. I wasn't home. The very next morning I received an email saying they were quitting due to rude behavior on my part to their employees. I was floored and confused. His employees do not speak english and I had never used an unkind word towards them or ****. I have since had a Master plumber come who stated that the valves were installed wrong and the new tile must be removed and the wall opened to repair. I have requested their liability insurance. No response yet. I feel ***************** made a financial decision to cut and run because his mistakes were too costly.
