  Used Birch for years, but this last service was an expensive disappointment. Was wrongly told coil had a leak and sold 5 lbs of refrigerant. Charge was $545. It briefly worked but quit the next day. A few days later different technician came with coil but said nothing wrong with coil, it is the compressor. Ordered compressor and left. Another few days. On scheduled day, another delay of 3 more days. Being uncomfortable without AC for so long, especially with my 95 yr. old mother in the house, I cancelled the order. Called another service who came that day and installed compressor the next day. They had to drain the refrigerant (contaminated) and replace it. I feel the $545 payment to Birch for misdiagnosed service and refrigerant I had to throw out since it became contaminated was a waste of money. An expensive lesson.

  We highly recommend Birch's Air! They installed our home air conditioner when we built 25 years ago. Originally coming from up north, where we only used our air conditioner a few months out of the year, running it almost year-round was a big difference, especially since we like to lower it at night to keep it cool for sleeping.
  We had to replace our original unit almost ten years ago and recently felt like our current unit was working too hard, not cooling enough, and running loudly.... resulting in hot nights and high electric bills. We properly maintain our unit, and have it serviced twice yearly but things aren't made the way they used to be.
  We called Birch's and after a quick response they came and found the problem. After much consideration we determined that although there was still some warranty time on our unit that the labor would not justify the repair. Instead, we opted for a new unit, and we couldn't be happier.
  Instead of keeping our air on 75-76 during the day, while keeping our shades drawn, and 72 at night we are now chilly at 78 during the day and more than comfortable at 76 during the night! All of this while the outside temps are in the 90's and the humidity index makes it feel like 100 or more! We are anxious to see how much our electric bill goes down!
  Thanks again to Birch's Air. You and your employees have always been very knowledgeable, professional and quick to respond. It's always a pleasure speaking with Sarah in your office and all of the techs who have come into our home over the last 25 years. We highly recommend Birch's Air Conditioning!!

  Birch's installed original system almost 20 years ago and has always promptly responded to service. Contacted them about replacement 7/21. Decided to go forward in 1/22. Birch's installed complete new Rheem system the next day, Nelson gave us a price break even though system prices went up since I had talked to him in July. Works great and more efficient. Original system failed at other house. Birch's worked with us to install new system promptly while we were out of town. Also took care of permit and inspection. Cut electric bills almost in half. FL needs more reliable old school professionals like these folks. **** *
