STOP, DO NOT ENGAGE THESE INCOMPETANT LAWYERS!On April 26, 2025 I sent an email request for legal services to this firm.On May 1, an employee calls me, chastising me for not responding to an email of interest I never received. We set an initial client consultation for May 5 and I got a confirmation email that clearly stated the initial retainer would be $5,000 with billing at $425/hour.Discovered an hour before the meeting, that the confirmation had the wrong meeting address? I would have missed the meeting entirely if I had not contacted the office.Meeting with Charles **** was very strange - he pontificated about all his knowledge about the law, then asked me to tell him about my case, he cut me off and kept pontificating about how great his firm was and how difficult my case would be. I told him we wanted to start with a demand letter as my request for legal services had stated. He replied that he would take my case for an initial $7,500 retainer, would review my case docs in detail, maybe take the case then assign an attorney to represent me. So $7, 500 for blind trust I would get a good lawyer! I negotiated the retainer back to $5,000 based upon me having all the docs. needed in transferable form to his paralegal. His staff said they would email me the services contract within 24 hours. What I get is an SMS text on my phone of a ********************************* print! We call the office and are told they "have a new system" and would try to email it. They do but it is not printable for review so, we call again and finally late the next day get a printable copy. Total amatueur hour electronic communication. **** decides we're using too much staff's time, bans us from calling his office via email where in he states "We do not take direction from clients or non-attorneys on how to handle a case." then, in the next paragraph fires us. Then writes "If you still wish to retain us, call next week but, do not contact my staff! Very weird so, disengaged.

Lets be clear Mr. ***** was never a client. Mr. ***** and his wife were provided a free consultation. They were informed that the case would be potentially complex and difficult. An evaluation would be required to better ascertain the situation and legal strategy to move forward. They agreed to move forward with hiring us and during the onboarding process, that same day Mr. ***** made statements on how the case should be handled which caused us concern that this may not be a good fit, therefore we stopped the onboarding process until it could be discussed further. The next thing is a barrage of complaints. We wish them the best in finding new legal counsel.
