    The owner of the business as far as we've been able to gather closed the business and opened another one under the name of ******************** Our contract was done some time around april last year 2022. We paid base on the contract all was need it over ***** thousand dollars.The job was never finish The tile company put a lean on the property because they were not able to collect from Jae Construction.This is totally an scam from the guy who owns Jae Construction and Now Hulk *************** His name is *************************

    I hired *** to replace the roof of my home. They had materials dropped off on my front lawn and took over 2 months to do the tear-down. On 8/19/2022 the tear-down happened. the following week inspection was done by the city and *** installed the Polystick TU MAX ********* The crew left several bags of debris and buckets of roof tar on my front lawn which were never picked up. I had to move all this myself to my backyard where after several months, the tar buckets rusted out and spilled tar all over my pavers. I have not heard back at all from the company! sent emails and called no reply. I finally got a hold of the owner, ************************* on October 27th after numerous texts and emails. He was to call me back to discuss how to proceed with the roof tiles since these were not ordered as I had requested when I signed the contract.At this point, I have a partially completed roof, with a membrane that must be covered by tiles within 6 months and we are on month 3 right now.I need to get this issue resolved asap for for ***** to respond with a tile order number and evidence tiles were ordered and this work will be completed.

    7/14/22 $1640 Security Deposit 8/24 $250 for Engineering Wind Calculation for flat roof for permit 10/12 $9840 60% due upon first day of roofing 10/12/22 $3280 20% of shingle release Total paid $14,760 I was told they applied for the permit within a few days after I put the deposit down. I followed up with the city 20 days later only to find out they still had not applied for the permit. They finally applied for the permit. They did rip off of the roof and laid a few shingles and stopped to wait for the shingle inspection. I was told he was coming several times and he never came. I called the city and found out he never picked up the permit and a $116 balance would need to be paid to pick it up. I contacted the contractor several times telling him to pick up the permit. Then his liability insurance expired so he could not pick it up even if he paid the balance. I informed him of this via text twice and he just kept saying the workers will be there tomorrow. I told him I do not want any more work done until my permit is picked up and the shingles are inspected. Still no response. I said I planned to file a complaint with the licensing board. No response. So now I have an un-permitted half done roof after paying $14760. I started this project saying I needed this to be done immediately as my homeowners insurance doubled and I needed to change my roof so I can lower my insurance. Now I have had to keep the expensive insurance even longer putting me in an even bigger financial hole. I want my permit to be picked up, roof inspected, and then the work to be completed.

    Roof replacement project was half done and project seem abandoned. Pending 1st inspection but has failed 2 times and last work done was more than 2 months ago. I tried to contact them and initially, office staff told me manager will call me back. Never did. Later they gave me the bosss number (*****). Never answer the phone and mailbox is always full. Now, no one is answering the phone in the office. I suspect they are no longer in business!
