Was online trying to get health insurance and these people called to offer me insurance from BSA Health Consulting *** DBA Health Consulting ****************. Said they had a plan for me for ****** a month plus ****** fee. ***** told me it was insurance and sent an email with about 6 pages of the policy to read and sign. ***** told me it would cover 70% medical expenses and I started getting email after emails which I was on the phone with him and no time to read all the stuff and he told me to click all the boxes and sign. Gave him my credit card number and he transferred me to a lady who asked me the same questions and said I had insurance and hung up. After reading the boxes I checked and realizing it was not insurance at all and did not cover 70% and was a simple discount card which don't even pay the doctors I knew it was a lie and a scam. I just lost ****** dollars and still have no insurance. Now they wont answer the phone.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I did NOT call them. I was on the internet fill out a application to get marketplace insurance and the phone rang and when I answered it ***** said he would help me get insurance. He already had my name and all my info so I assumed he was with ********************** He was NOT with them and how he got all my info ?I have no idea. I didn't find this out until I talked to the REAL market place people who said they forwarded my application to ******** because I didn't make enough money to get marketplace insurance and ******** would get in touch with me. He also said marketplace would never ask for a payment or call me on the phone. That is how I know it was not them. somehow these guys had to be watching me fill out the form to market place and had my info from them. I NEVER not once CALLED BSAhealth and had never heard of them. THEY called me the minute I finished my application at marketplace. I never told them I was healthy and told them I would be needing a hip replacement soon These people are nothing but lies. They did refund my money though and I thank them for that But something is not right with this company
Sincerely,

First off I DID NOT call them. They called me and said they were here to help me as I was online filling out a application with marketplace insurance (A completly different company). I just assumed they were with marketplace so I continued on the conservation. He already somehow had my information! Have no Idea how he got even my telephone number unless he was somehow monitoring my application. AND AGAIN I DID NOT CALL THEM . THEY CALLED ME!!! Another thing he said I told them I was healthy and looking for insurance! like all the other things he said was A lie. I told him I was going to have hip replacement in May and had a lot of other issues. After that I CALLED market place and found out they turned my application over to ******** and I ask about the *** ***** who called while I was filling out the application and he said that no one would have called and no one would ever ask for my credit card number. By then it was too late and I already fill out the info they gave me from ***** thru email. I cancelled my card and cancelled their service immediately. They did refund my money it seem But they are up to something !!! They should have not been able to get my phone number and call me while I was online looking for insurance. NO way was that coincidental And I will say it again I DID NOT CALL THEM! I was on the computer when the phone rang. The people at market place insurance took note of what happened and told me to report to BBB as I did and they informed their employees as to what happened. Simple as thatInitial Complaint

I signed up for health insurance through ********* Consultants via phone @ ************ on 2/19/25 9:06 AM and spoke to an agent named *****. ***** went to very great detail about insurance policies and gave direction on what route to go on. 2/19/25 0941 I called and spoke to their director, *******. I requested some missing information about the company explained to her that I was missing a breakdown of my co-pays, the deductible and limits on the insurance plan that I could not find them in any of the emails that I have received. At this time, I did mention that I potentially want to cancel this plan. ******* advised me to hold off and that she would send me information about the company. She also said at this time that this is not a scam and not to worry. I received information via email at 10:20 AM.2/20/25 I began to do some research about BSA consulting and found several mentions of scams in several reviews.2/20/25 10:53 AM I called to cancel my policy, but unfortunately, a representative was unavailable at this time. I was told they would call back.2/20/25 11:34 AM I called back and spoke to an agent ******. I explained to him that I wanted to cancel this policy that I want to go a different route with my health insurance. He gave instant pushback stating that I would be uninsured that I couldnt do this that I would have to find another plan before canceling this plan to show them that I have health insurance coverage. ****** did report that he saw that I spoke to ******* yesterday in detail about information regarding the company. He said that they would not be able to cancel today that I would receive a phone call from their cancellation team within 3 to 5 business days. At this time, I questioned him about their stated 30 day, cancellation and full refund policy. ****** did not acknowledge this statement.I would like for my policy to be canceled, all my information removed from their system, and the promised full refund of my paid $432.99.Business Response

On February 6, 2025, I spoke with a licensed insurance agent named ****** who works for BSA Health Consulting seeking a health insurance plan that fits my particular situation. I explained to ****** that I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis for which I am prescribed *******, a biosimilar to ******. I informed ****** that I was looking for a plan that covered not only my doctor visits, but also my prescription for *******. He found a plan through ******************* and assured me (1) that the plan covered both my doctor visits and my medication costs, (2) that my coverage would be effective on February 7, 2025, and (3) that I could pick up my medication on February 7, 2025, for little to no cost. Come to find out, ****** provided false information: ******* is not covered by my plan and I have to pay full price for the medication despite having insurance. The only reason I signed up for the plan is because ****** assured me that ******* would be covered, which proved to be false. Simply put, I was lied to by an agent at BSA Health Consulting and duped into signing up for a plan that I do not want and do not need. I've spoken with customer service about cancelling my plan and have asked for a full refund, but they deferred me until Thursday, February 13, 2025, when someone from **** is supposed to call me to handle the cancellation. I'm concerned that there will be no call and my $439.57 will not be refunded. Frankly, I feel like I got robbed by BSA Health Consulting and I don't want anything like this happening to anyone else.Business Response

I was lied to and given false pretenses in order to sign up for a gap health insurance plan instead of a traditional real health insurance plan. I was made to believe that I was getting health care coverage with no deductibles. I want all of my money back. The policy number is FIR683227965 and I want everything I was charged back since they were not fore coming about what this plan was and gave me the run around to cancel the policy. It has been such a headache and waste of time.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:they are not being fully honest. They called me after I put in an inquiry online. I never called them to initiate a plan. The *** that called me did not mention that this was gap insurance he told me it was a healthcare plan with no deductibles and that I could switch my sons healthcare coverage to this plan also. I also mentioned that my son had a lot of medical issues and the *** looked up all of my sons healthcare providers and said that they are all within network. The *** never mentioned that this was gap insurance until open enrollment. I was taken advantage of. I didnt receive the welcome email and called after the 30 days to state that I havent received an insurance card nor an email with plan information. They sent it to me and I realized it wasnt real insurance once I received the card. I only canceled after I found out it wasnt real insurance and stated that several times when I called to cancel. I never stated I was canceling because I found another insurance plan and I have the email to prove it which is attached. Im a hard working person with a child with a lot of medical issues including autism, ADHD, GERD, asthma, environmental and food allergies and wasted almost $1,000 that could have gone toward his medical bills. I would never have signed up for this if I knew it wasnt insurance.
Sincerely,

This is a health care plan which I pay monthly. I cancelled on 1/2/2024 and expected that I would be refunded for the rest of the month of January and they refuse stating that I have to pay for the entire month even though I am no longer covered after my cancellation on 1/2/2024. I want the refund amount minus the first 2 days of January.Business Response

In early December 2023, my wife tried to go on the *** exchange to buy health insurance but accidentally got these people (who pay to have their misleading ad show up at the top of ****** searches). She was contacted and arranged for a Health Share program. We were told that, once we got the documentation we could cancel, and get a full refund, should we decide we did not want the plan, which was to be effective January 1, 2023. Upon reading the plan documentation, and realizing who we were dealing with, we decided against the plan. We have now had multiple calls from them where they provide contractdictory information and have not yet refunded the money we paid them. The last call today, December 26, was to inform us we had to respond in writing with the information on what insurance plan we did decide to go with or they would not cancel the plan, would not return our money, and would begin to charge us monthly. After arguing with the rude representative I asked for his supervisor. When she eventually came on she said that information was not mandatory, but just "made it easier for everyone." I provided it, via email, and she said she "guaranteed" that the money would be refunded, we would not be charged anything additional, and that we would not hear from them. I don't believe it and we have received nothing indicating they will actually do what they say on the phone (which changes from call to call). Can you help us ensure we get our money back and do not get harassed further by these people?Business Response
