On 12/3/2022 I paid $5,000 deposit. (balance for completed job $2670) *********** advertises that projects take 3-5 days from fabrication to installation and it is now 3/7/2023. 1. On 12/8/2022 the company removed the old countertop.2. On 12/16/2022 the company installed the countertop. and on December 28, 2022 the backsplash.3. I was informed that they made a mistake and an additional slab of granite was needed to complete the job adding $700. She did mention that she would give this to me at cost due to their mistake.4. 1/24/2023 after the countertop was installed I notified the company that the backsplash was unacceptable due to it being cut too short and therefore too much grout between the granite and the cabinets. (I was out of the country while it was being installed.)5. Also on 1/24/2023, my assistant informed the company that the backsplash and countertop were not flush with the cabinets which I had clearly shown the person who measured for the job. 6. 2/4/2023, the company replaced the backsplash.7. February 8, 2023 I had my assistant inform them that the grout job was very sloppy and needed to be redone. 8. On 2/9/2023 I sent an email to the owner of the company explaining the problems with the job including backsplash and countertop not being flush with cabinets, sloppy grouting and window sill and short backsplash cut too short. I got no reply.9. On Saturday, February 11, 2023, my assistant was told that someone would come between 12 and 5pm to fix the grout. She drove an hour from ***** and waited all day and no one showed up or called to let her know they weren't coming.10. 2/13/2023 my assistant was told that the backsplash could be cut to be flush with the cabinets but the countertop did not need to be cut. The countertop definitely needs to be cut too. 11. It is now March 7, 2023 and the issues have not been resolved. I sent a second email to the owner on March 6 but he has not replied.
