    I started talking to Capt. *********************** back in August with intentions to sell our boat. I explained to him that we had to have work done on the boat and would not be able to sell it in good faith until it was completed. I called Complete Marine on Sept 20th, spoke to someone I don't recall the name and explained the work needed and that I would supply the parts and they needed to confirm the labor as the drive and motor had to be removed. Saturday Oct 8th, we dropped the boat off and signed the sales paper work. Service Advisor *************************** handed my wife "a blank" repair order stating that no work would be completed without a written estimate. On Oct 17th I spoke Service Advisor *********************** informing me that the motor had to come out, the very thing that I had already stated and requested a quote for! No call until Oct 22nd, **** tells me that my motor was Blown October 23rd I went up to see what was going on to find my motor on a pallet under some plastic and my freshly recovered rear hatch in the open on a trailer. Monday the 24th I speak with ** and told him I would coming to pick up the boat. I arrived Sat the 29th to see the motor in the same place and condition, the boat on the other hand was moved further back in the yard. Had a good chat with ** up to the point when he said he hadn't completed the invoice yet and when asked how much he said it was like $5,500! I explained to him that I never received a quote nor ever heard from ***** other than the motor had to be pulled which again goes back to why it was there in the first place! My wife who has been out of country returns and we go back Nov. 7th to resolve the miscommunication and retrieve our boat, ** presents us with a $5500 bill which we then move to the back f the building so other potential victims can't hear our conversation. *** Capt. ***** Service Advisor *************************** and now a Sales Manager ********************************* start the circle jerk all as Owner David Giannone is watching from afar.

    BEWARE!! Do not take your boat here for repair. They will take advantage of you and will leave you asking the question “why am I being charged so many labor hours for the work completed, why didn’t anyone tell me that my bill was going to be much more than originally expected, why am I being charged a service charge for any kind of payment other than cash, why did it take so long to complete my repairs, why wasn’t my original problem fixed, why did I have to pay again to have the original problem fixed after bringing it back?” These are some of the questions I had after my first experience at Complete Marine. No written estimates, not informed that my 100 hr service was going to cost 2x as much as originally told, not told that fixing a wiring problem with my bilge was going to take 4 hours to diagnose & fix, at $189/hr shop rate, and that they were going to replace the bilge pump & float switch, even though it was not required, not told that my head needed an additional part that cost over $200, when I found it on Amazon at $95, not told that replacing a seal on my head would take 5 hours, at $189/hr, and finally, not told that a 3% CC service fee was going to be charged, even though I used a debit card! My boat was there for a total of 3 weeks!! Called the shop to talk to the owner & express my dissatisfaction, but he, **** ********, did not have time for me. Someone else called me back & said he would look into the situation. Did not hear back from anyone! Stay away from this place unless you have money & time to burn!!
