I have called, and sent certified letters asking to be removed from their mailing list for the past two years with out result. I do not approve of their movie **ntents, their catalogs **ntain graphic *** and violence. I ordered old films from them, before their **ntent was changed. They now have my address and **ntinue sending me their unwanted material with my name being used. What options do I have. Any help appreciated. This individual was removed from the Alliance Entertainment database on 10/29/2024. A separate search of outside third-party databases that perform marketing services for Alliance Entertainment and Critics Choice failed to locate this individual. *********************************************** ************************* Better Business Bureau Subject: Complaint Regarding MovieSpree Closure and Digital Content Access Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding MovieSpree, a subsidiary of Alliance Entertainment, which recently shut down its website and has consequently made it impossible for customers, including myself, to access digital content we purchased through their *********** a loyal customer, I invested in numerous digital titles through ********** under the assurance that I would retain access to these purchases indefinitely. The sudden closure of their services, coupled with the lack of any refund or restitution for the inaccessible content, is deeply concerning. In my view, this action is unethical, as it disregards the rights of customers to access goods they legally purchased, and could be classified as a form of financial harm.I respectfully request your assistance in addressing this issue. In the complaint, Mr. ********* specifically stated "I would appreciate any investigation into **********'s practices and support in obtaining a resolutionbe it through refunds, restored access to purchased content, or other measures." The website has been shut down, so it is impossible to offer restored access to the online content. Accordingly, we offered to give Mr. ********* a full refund as he requested, so we are at a loss to understand why he rejected our offer.Customer Answer

We started ordering from this company and right away the charges that were made to the account were never the amount that was said when we placed the order. It would always be hundreds of dollars more. They could never explain the difference in charges even when we asked them, even after showing them bank statements showing there was a difference. They never provided invoices as there were "problems with our account" which they never explain nor tried to fix. One of our last orders was canceled and sent back to the warehouse (it was never even attempted to be delivered) when we called they said it was canceled weeks ago yet we had never heard anything even though we were charged. When asking for a refund, they said they could just apply a credit to the account. So we placed an additional order for the same amount that should've been credited. Now they are saying we owe them an additional $2,000.00 even though we don't have any extra product nor did we place any additional orders. When asking what this $2,000.00 is for, they could never explain it or provide invoices or anything. They just keep giving us the run around, never answering our questions and just ignoring them, then threatening to send us to collections (months after this supposed order was placed/delivered). Even months later, they are still threatening legal action even though they could never provide any information telling us why we owed so much money when we don't have any additional product from them. We don't trust this company or their buisness practices and at this point they are harassing us and threatening us even though they have still failed to provide us with any information as to why we would owe them thousands of dollars when we haven't placed any orders. They have always charged us before we would even get the shipment and we have never received a shipment without being charged before hand. So it just doesn't make any sense why we would owe them any money. We want them to leave us alone.Initial Complaint

I have requested many times to have my online account with Popmarket deleted and my information removed from their system. They always say it will take 30 days and then restart the timer after I follow up after 30 days. its been over 6 months since I have started this process.Business Response

Their response does not match what was requested. I wanted my online account deleted, which has nothing to do with SMS messaging enrollment. I did notice that they deleted the account, so I got what I wanted. But their response is terrible.Customer Answer
