    I have attempted to find an Endodontist within 20 miles and can not. The 6 listed on their site do not accept the plan or are not there. The company *** states if the practitioner does not keep them updated they have no way of knowing. Fraudulent information and they assume no responsibility! The *** stated she would find someone for me and 7 days later I have yet to get notified. Also company ***s are not helpful as all they do is read names off the website that you are fully capable of doing yourself. A total waste of my time. Do not enroll with this company as they mis***resent the practioners that are available to you. You believe you are getting access to a wide range of practioners but in reality you are not . Bait and switch they call it.

I understand how frustrating it can be when the information you receive does not align with reality. The Network regularly sends in a list of participating providers; however, there are occasions when practitioners change their locations without notice.

    For your assistance, our customer service team is available to help you by contacting the offices to confirm whether they are accepting new patients. Additionally, I want to remind you that you have the option to switch to another plan. We did attempt to reach you on 9/15/2025 to provide assistance in finding a different dentist and left a message regarding this.

    Please also keep in mind that specialists sometimes travel to different locations, which may be outside of a 20-mile radius. If there is anything further we can do to support you, please let us know.

    This company is the least respectable business I've ever tried to associate with. After telling the poor excuse for a cs *** that I had called in December of last year to request a refund and was charged again in August for a plan I had canceled and still wanted my money back. He tried to explain that I did not have money taken out of my account therefore did not need a refund and then proceeded to tell me to speak with respect to someone else because all humans deserved respect. I told him that as soon as I found one that deserved it, I would. To please let me speak to his supervisor. He would not. Save yourself money and do not do business with this scam outfit. You will never get it back anyway! I hope this helps someone else!

    My plan was scheduled to renew 2-27-26 but I called to cancel my plan since my dentist is dropping this plan from his office. I was informed I won't be receiving any of my premium back and have to carry the plan until the renewal date and then it will be canceled. This outfit is a scam. They pay very little toward the dental bill, not at all like they tell you when you sign up. Now they won't even reimburse you for something you can't use. It's no wonder my dentist is dropping them. Save your money. I've been conned, don't you get conned.

    ******! They automatically charge your account for a recurring charge. I did not authorize it and when I called to complain, they only refunded me the balance of the year not the full amount. I went on SS so there was no need for me to renew the plan. I don't like being automatically charged when I wasn't notified!!!!! BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!

    shady for sure. I pd. 2 yr premium to save a few bucks. My dentist said it was useless since my medical coverage paid for my services. I req'd. my refund of $201.96. I received a credit of $136. Now I cannot get through to them. Tried e-mail and phone calls. Upset senior citizen!! less than 1 star rating

    This company is guilty of trying to steal cash from my bank account. I did not approve their auto enrollment Did not wish to do business with them again.And I think they're guilty of male fraud and running a scam business

     Hello,

      Thank you for reaching out to the DentalPlans Consumer Relations Team. After looking into Mr. ******** situation, we found that his plan was set to automatically renew. Members can stop the renewal process from their member area.   
    We send out multiple notifications through phone, mail, and email to avoid any surprises. Members can also call and speak with a live agent for help with canceling the renewal.  Mr. ****** acknowledged receiving the renewal notifications but did not respond. The renewal payment has been refunded, and it will take five business days to process. Please feel free to contact the **************** Team at ************** if you have any questions or concerns.

    i got an Aetna discount plan. The discounts are worthless. The fee schedule is very high. They trick you into thinking you will have great discounts with your dentist but the examples they give are not based on your dentist. Furthermore, ******************* has no idea who I am because the plan is strictly through this seperate company. Do not waste your money.

    Cant get any discounts or coverage from my dentist, when calling Dental plans to cancel and get a refund i get stock in a phone loop then call is disconnected. Has happened 3 times, complete scam and good luck getting ahold of them

    This company does nothing but give you the run around. You call to cancel they tell you it's a completely different number and they are closed for the day. They can't cancel you online even if you login or live chat with a representative You finally get a hold of the place and you have to give them all your information again and you have to give them a reason why. This place should be closed. Their dental plans aren't even taken by the dentists.

When a member wishes to cancel their plan, they can do so through their members area or by calling the **************** line. If they choose to call, they will be transferred to the ********************* which handles refunds and cancellations for accurate processing. For after-hours inquiries, the advice is to call back on the next business day. Live chat support does not have a ********************* so members must either contact the Retention Team by phone or cancel the plan through the members area. When contacting the provider to cancel the plan, the member should be prepared to provide their information and a reason for cancelling. 

    If a participating dentist refuses to accept the plan, **************** is available to assist with resolving the issue through a phone call to the dental office. This ensures that members receive the benefits they are entitled to under the plan. By offering multiple avenues for cancellation and addressing issues with participating providers promptly, the company aims to provide a seamless and customer-centric experience for its members.     I purchased this plan at the end of May 2024 and didnt start to seek out dentists til the end of June. I couldnt find a dentist from the list online that participated in this plan so I called customer support and they sent me another list of providers and most say they also have not heard of and said they do not participate as well. I chatted with an agent who asked me for the dentists names - I have contacted 6 so far and agent told me to speak with the office manager to confirm their participation. I explained that for all six because they were not familiar with the name they have asked me to send a copy of my membership card to them and theyve all come back saying they dont participate. I asked the agent what was the process for getting a refund and she and they texted that refunds are provided after 30 days of enrollment which is ridiculous. If the plan doesnt provide the service a refund should be provided

It's positive that you have already reached out to multiple dentists but  asking for confirmation of participation directly from the office manager is a good step in ensuring clarity . This is not the only plan offered in your area and you have the option to switch plans at no additional cost to you. We can also find you a dentist that is accepting your plan.  Please call in and allow  us an opportunity to address your concerns and assist you. If you still feel that you would like to cancel we can honor a prorated refund to you.

    REFUNF POLICY:

    We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, less the $20 processing fee, on all dental savings plans purchased from DentalPlans.com.

    Please call ************** to speak with our customer service department to discontinue your plan within the first 30 days of purchase.

    After 30 days of initial purchase, the DentalPlans.com Refund Policy is as follows: A member is eligible to receive a pro-rated refund only if DentalPlans.com cancels their membership with one of its networks for any reasonor if the fee schedule of the plan you have selected is not honored by at least one participating general dentistry provider in your vicinity. If your plan auto-renews: Within the first 60 days of the auto-renewal date, we offer a full refund of the plan price, less the $20 processing fee. Call ************** to speak with our customer service department for more information. After 60 days from the automatic renewal, the above refund policy applies. If you do not want your plan to renew automatically, you must set your account to Do Not Renew.

    Members can switch to another plan at any time during their membership. Contact our customer service department at ************** for assistance.

    Processing Fee: The processing fee is for the standard upkeep & administration of the members area and sending your plan information in the mail.

    State Exceptions

    ********: Members who cancel a membership within the first ************************************************* the plan will receive a full refund, including the $20 processing fee.
    ********: Processing fee is not applicable for plans sold to state residents.
    **************: Member shall receive a full refund of membership fees, excluding processing fee (if any), if the member cancels within the first 30 days after receipt of membership materials.
