            I purchased a my next Virgin Voyages the day of my last day on the cruise for $300. I went online to choose my date and the onboard credit was reduced from $600-$300. I contacted a travel agent and she mentioned that, even though I was only one day, trying to book after the 60 day period. That Virgin Voyages would not honor the $600 in on board credit. I dont think this is right. I want to be refunded $300 for the placeholder or I want the original $600 and on board credit , this is not fair and false advertising .

            Absolute worst experience ever. I purchased Virgin cruise as I have never cruised with them before. When purchasing the cruise, there was a promotion to receive up to $300 on board bar tab and you could view eligible sailings for that promotion. I booked a cruise that came up under that promotion as it came with a bar tab and a brand new ship. The ship has now been switched and they are not honoring the bar tab. I called in and was told that the ship was not eligible as listed in the terms and conditions even though it came up under the promotional search. The only reason I booked this cruise was because of the promotion and the new ship and now neither of these are eligible. I have cruised with 5 other cruise companies and have nothing but great customer service and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy, where Virgin is willing to completely ruin a first time customer over their website not being clear.
