In September 2021 my husband and joined 9Round kickboxing gym. Our daughter who is the manager finally after three years talked us into it. But what she didnt explain was that she signed us into a contract. Nonetheless, we explained to her and she knew we had health conditions that might *** change things and not allow us to continue but we promised we would at least try and that we did. But months prior to that I was suffering with issues with my feet and terrible excruciating pains and I had injured my left shoulder from a multiple hard falls two years earlier and sustained a hairline fracture in my collar bone. All of these things would hinder my abilities in the gym but I would try my best. After weeks and then a month of honestly suffering, I couldnt get through any of the workouts. I was in so much agony so much pain. From shoulder to feet to back. But they would say youve got this we will just change things up. But I still couldnt get through and finally I just stopped going altogether. It got to the point I couldnt lift my arm past my waist and was having trouble walking just a few feet at a time. I cry in pain in bed just trying to sleep. I tried to cancel my membership a number of times in person and over the phone and then via email and offered to show medical documentation to support it. They refuse to cancel my membership in October, then November and yet again in December when I told them that that entire time I had foot pain it was that my foot was broken ( a stress fracture) and only made worse by them making me do all those ridiculous running in place kick the bag and then jump rope. All of which I said was quite difficult and painful. They said it would stretch the muscle for me eventually it would feel better. They were wrong. They said alternate with heat and ice and it will get better, also wrong. Come back in tomorrow and work out again, so very wrong, all wrong. Saddest part is my daughter ************************* is the manager.
