This business has failed to return my rental deposit within the required 15 days of vacating, and has also added additional fees of $900 for renovations they are responsible for such as a new dryer, repainting of the apartment, and new blinds. We had lived in the unit for approximately 5 years and had requested new appliances while living there, we received a new washer after it completely went out but not a dryer, which was also starting to quit on us. They never sent anyone out to paint where they had patched the ceiling themselves, so the job was incomplete. After 5 years, a complete repainting may be necessary but NOT because of us living there, we only hung pictures on the walls for decorating, all with minimally invasive nails. Weve also been moved out for 6 months, where we have been in consistent contact with the company to resolve the issue, apparently every person weve spoken to (a total of about 5) have either quit or been fired so weve been told. We always paid our rent on time every month.

I move into ******************************************************************* on November 30, 2024 was in the unit one day, moved out of that apartment the following day due to ***** infestation. I lifted the rug unsecured to boarders there were hundreds of roaches underneath the rug. I was moved the next day to apt #** that still had roaches not once did anyone come to exterminate even though I complained all the time when my lease was up for renewal I stopped by the office and **** ****** ******** the new Property manager asked me if I was going to renew my lease, I told her no I could not afford the rent, she asked me what can she do to keep me as a tenant, I don't want to lose you as a tenant. I stopped by the office many times within two months leading up to my lease expiring, all the while the property manager telling me let's work something out and never did. I had to inform them I was moving. The process was delayed so I gave notice (30) days before move out. Property manager **** ****** ******** offered a deal two weeks before my lease expired, it was too late I found a cheaper apartment. Property manager **** ****** ******** was offering to reduce my security deposit to $500 from the $2,550.00 they held and apply the balance as a credit to be divided into 12 month of the new lease beginning December 1, 2025. Since that didn't happen because of all the delays on her part when property manager **** ****** ******** did a final walk through inspection when I moved out she told me they are keeping one months rent because I did not give proper notice to vacate. When she was trying to cut a deal for me to renew the lease it was ok to apply the security deposit as a credit, now that I moved out they want to keep a whole months rent of my security deposit. During move out inspection I could see I will be nickeled & dimed out of security deposit for minor issues that existed when I moved in. She is a new property manager who wasn't aware of condition of apartment when I moved in

My daughter and her roommate submitted their notice to vacate back in January 2024. I have attached the move out form and a copy of the email stating that the paperwork is received. I have tried to resolve this problem with the Apartment Complex and the Management Company. No phone calls are returned and I have kept calling them. She has complied and the complex still wants to continue charging us rent until they rent out the apartment again. Her lease is up on June 30th and rent has been paid up until that day. Please assist in this matter.
