      I received a quote for **********. I signed gave a deposit. I then cancelled my service but the merchant will not refund me my deposit of $1500. I didnt get a verbal non refundable down payment nor a signed non refundable deposit. Ive contacted the merchant on multiple occasion told I would get a call back, given different numbers to call, Ive even sent an email but no answers. My bank told me I should discuss with the merchant for my refund but they arent helping with any of the process. If a deposit is non refundable on any product shouldnt it be said? I wasnt told that and I didnt sign anything that stated that.

      We are writing in response to a recent dispute filed by ****************** regarding a credit card payment of $1,500 made to our practice, Lucas Orthodontics, on May 8, 2025. This charge represents a non-refundable initial down payment for Invisalign treatment, and we are formally contesting the complaint on the grounds that the services were properly rendered, and all terms were clearly communicated, agreed to, and contractually documented and signed.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      in no places I signed or at no time I was told this down payment was non refundable. And what service was rendered? The consultation? The only service I was rendered was the consultation. Yes I did sign for the down payment, but I changed my mind for many reasons. I cancelled the service before I started it therefore I should be owed a refund since I never started the service that apparently was rendered. And never signed nor never told this down payment would be non refundable.
