Avoid Grease Pro in Panama City. Staff is not trained and the owner is above talking with customers to get feedback. My car was damaged during a simple oil change and it took over an hour. You have a lot better choices in the area and this company is a poorly run operation and the day to day operations is horrible.

*****, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, though we're truly sorry to hear you left feeling disappointed. While we understand that waiting longer than expected is frustrating, our goal is always to provide quality service — even when that means taking a little extra time to ensure the job is done right.
The delay with your oil change was due to a common issue specific to your vehicle, which our team explained at the time of service. While this did extend the time it took to complete the service, our technicians were working to properly address the situation and provide the best care for your vehicle. We know waiting is never ideal, and our team apologized for the inconvenience during your visit.
As for your request to speak with the owner — it is common practice in many businesses, the owner has entrusted a leadership team to oversee daily operations and customer service to ensure each location runs smoothly. Our team is empowered to make decisions, assist customers, and uphold the high standards we strive for and believe the team provided that for you.
We also want to clarify that Grease Pro holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. There are many reasons a business may not be accredited in BBB including the business not applying for accreditation or choosing not to participate in the program — it is not a reflection of the quality of service provided.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

I took my car to get a diagnosis. The “mechanic” recommended I have a tune up and change my could pack for a code reading misfire cylinder 1. I brought my car back the next day and paid 625 dollars for the service that was recommended due to the code reading. The SAME day of having the work done the engine light came back on. I brought my car back and the SAME code was reading misfire cylinder 1. The “mechanic” gets on the computer and determines that in fact changing that particular part isn’t going to fix the misfire it’s an issue they can’t fix so they recommend me bring it to the dealership. So I called the main grease pro and they had me bring my car in to see if they could determine the issue . I received a call saying that they in fact can not fix the car that I need to take it somewhere else to be assessed. So I asked for a refund for the coil pack that DID NOT need to be changed on my car, the gentleman denied me a refund and insisted that they did the service I paid for. I WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THE SERVICE HAD I KNOW THEY COULD NOT FIX IT. I would have taken it directly to the dealership. So now I’m out of 625 dollars and my car is still reading the same code. I was HIGHLY taken advantage of by this company being I’m a female. This seems to be a pattern reading the horrifying reviews.

We appreciate your feedback and are genuinely saddened to see your review. We understand that car care can be expensive and we do everything in our power to ensure customers receive the best care possible.
Upon reviewing your case, we want to clarify that during the initial diagnostic, our recommendation for a tune-up and coil pack replacement was based on the code reading indicating a misfire in cylinder 1. We thoroughly explained that this was the first step in addressing the issue, and you agreed to move forward. Unfortunately, car issues can be complex, and after completing the service and you returning the next day, it was clear there was a more intricate problem. After assessing the situation, our team suggested taking the car to the dealership for a more in-depth evaluation.
Regarding the refund request for the coil pack, we acknowledge your frustration but our team thoroughly communicated with you, that this was a starting point and more service may be required. Any misunderstanding is regrettable.
Lastly, we assure you that we would never take advantage of any customer, regardless of gender or any other factor.
We value your feedback, and we'll use this experience to improve our communication and ensure a better understanding of the potential complexities of certain car issues.

My 17 year old granddaughter took her car in for oil change they charge her 82.00 dollars for 4 1/2 guarts of oil and 16.95 for the oil filter. I went back today for a explanation and was told that was what she asked for. My Grandaughter does know the difference between conventional and synthetic oil. He told me he was going to get the owners son but he never returned with him. I feel this young lady was taken advantage of. They can Contact me

Bob, we are sincerely sorry you feel your granddaughter was taken advantage of. That is never our way of doing business. We work hard to offer our customers the best service possible to keep them safely on the road. In this case, our team used the manufacturer recommended oil for the specific vehicle. We understand car care can be pricey but we strive to keep our pricing competitive. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding someone getting the "owner's son" as that is not how issues are handled and our team knows that. The team was trying to get you in touch with the operation's manger but when he returned to give you the information, you were pulling out of the driveway. We are happy to get you in contact with the operation manager to discuss this further but at this time, we strongly believe there was no wrong doing by our team.

Your employees told me the owners son was out back and he was going to have him talk to me.Still haven't gotten a straight answer on how you charge her 18.00 dollars a guart for oil. Your employees couldn't give me a answer either kept telling e it was 10.00 dollars a guart. According to my records it says 82.95 for 4/12 guarts. All I know is none of my family or friends won't be doing business with this company again.

Deceitful sales and service practices. This location took advantage of a senior female with false claim of equal price and tried to hide the scam. The young manager, Austin was highly unprofessional, and made smirks and was rude when confronted with the issue. This young man should be more mindful and solution oriented. I am offended by the overcharge practices, and lack of respect. I am hoping the company compensates me, and ceases the deceitful practice.
I was told I needed a battery although I had zero issues. With three auto parts stores, next door to the building, I was told they would replace my battery for equal price as O'Reilly across the street. I was hoping to expedite service and agreed. O'Reilly changes batteries free. When I paid my bill it stated 1 battery $250.00. There was no other information.
I questioned the amount and was told it included labor. I asked for a breakdown of charges. I got none.
On the way to check on my elderly neighbor (87), I called GreasePro because I felt that I was taken advantage. The name in the invoice wasn't even close. I was told the manager was unavailable.
I had to go out of town, returned today to inquire about the obvious deceitful expense. I was referred to Austin. He was rude.
I was told the warranty is under GreasePro, not me. I was also told the battery came from O'Reilly across the street. The retail of the battery is $209.00 with 20% online discount.
This means GreasePro profited approximately $70 on battery alone. I also paid $79.95 FOR OIL CHANGE AND ANOTHER FEE FOR AIR FILTER!
I am almost 69 years old, widowed and on a set budget. I could have taken the car across the street, saved a minimum of $50.00. This is predatory tactic in my opinion. I would like it to cease, and if it is a regular practice to be listed as a warning to others vulnerable. So far, no effort to resolve this issue has been offered.

      *****,
Firstly, we would like to apologize for any miscommunication or misunderstanding during your visit. We regret to hear about the experience you had with our manager, Austin. Our team is expected to provide exceptional customer service, and we will address this matter to ensure that future interactions with our staff are more professional and respectful. We value your feedback and take all customer concerns seriously, as it helps us improve our services. That being said, our team would never take advantage of any person. In fact, it is very important to our team to take excellent care of our senior customers.
Regarding the battery replacement, we understand your concerns about the pricing. Upon investigating your situation, as you mentioned, O'reillys was running a deal on your battery but unfortunately, we are not able to check daily for battery sales at the local parts stores and match those. We are a separate business and work hard to keep our pricing competitive.
You mentioned in your review that you were told you needed a battery although you had zero issues. It is our team's practice to test your battery during an oil change. If they recommended a battery, it would be because the test did not come back with good numbers. You may not have experienced your car not starting but it would have been easy for you to overlook the car taking a bit longer to turn over when you started it up. This is the beginning sign of a battery going bad.
That being said, our team recommending you replace the battery is just that - a recommendation. If your car was in danger of not starting they would have told you this needs to be done immediately but that was not the case meaning you had every right and option to decline the battery and shop around for a better price if need be due to financial situation.
As a business, I know you understand that at the end of the day we need to make money. We do that by providing our customers fair and honest car care. Could you have gone to O'reillys and bought a battery slightly cheaper? In this instance, due to their sale, yes. But you wouldn’t have been alerted to the battery issues until it was too late and your battery was dead somewhere and you couldn’t start your car. That is why we’re here. To take care of you and keep you safely on the road. It is our hope that you would become a loyal customer and turn to us for all of your car care needs and we could not do that if we engaged in deceitful and predatory practices.
It is hurtful to hear you use words such as those as Grease Pro has never conducted business that way. Our customers mean the world to us and providing excellent car care and professional recommendations is part of that.
Regarding your claim that no effort to resolve the issue had been made at the time of your review - we’d like to note that you dealt directly with the manager and when he was unable to help you, you then called the main office. You were told that the situation needed to be investigated and that we would have someone contact you soon. Before the day was over you commented negatively on Google and then went directly to BBB all before the investigation could even be concluded.
We are deeply sorry that you feel you were taken advantage of, but we can ensure there was no wrongdoing by our team. Therefore, we can not offer any compensation in this case..
In conclusion, if you feel you no longer wish to do business with Grease Pro, we are genuinely sad to see you go but please know that our team was only trying to provide you the best care possible and we will remain happy to do so if you need us again in the future.

I have been using Grease Pro for oil changes since I moved to the area two years ago and these guys are great! Every staff member I have worked with has been very chipper and helpful. I went to the Back Beach PCB location not too long ago trying to get a tire plugged because I assumed that is what I needed. Instead of just doing what I thought I needed, they suggested I go elsewhere and get it patched because that would be best for the longevity of the tire. This showed to me the character these guys have and how they aren't just chasing a buck.

We are very sorry to hear you were not pleased with your service. Our team would never have ignored you on purpose. In addition, our team would not have noticed the condenser unless asked to do diagnostics to find what was wrong with the system and some of our locations are only able to refill and charge the AC while others are able to do full diagnostic and repair. At your original visit, they were asked to put Freon in and they did. Unfortunately that was not the issue with your ac, which was determined after your cooling was not working again. In summary, we are very sorry that you were not pleased with your experience with us but believe our team performed the service you requested.
