    I think my grievance is incredibly dumb. Last month *** hired a subcontractor to remove and reinstall my solar system, they removed it and found damage by critters eating wires. I requested an estimate to repair the wiring and protection for the wiring We agreed to the labor and parts estimate provided. They received the estimate of parts November 13, 2024. JAC roofing kept their commitment to installing my new roof. I have yet to see Hernando inspection report. We came back from a Thanksgiving week on December 1, 2024 out of town, because we did not get any calls or Communication from either the solar company or the roofing company, we called. We then received the estimate with apologies, lots of apologies! We were informed we needed to order the parts. My husband spent the entire day attempting to order the appropriately $5000 in parts. We are old, myself 81. My husband has ulcers, he bleeds when he is upset. I told the person that provided the estimate how impossible it was. Meantime they did reinstall my 1 year old pool solar system that was laying on the ground. My pool turned green because the salt generator was disconnected. My husband made more calls because he wanted to give those installers the money to order parts. I offered to ***** the money when I got the estimate. My 26 solar panels and 2 working solar fans, that were on my roof are out in my back yard providing critters a winter home, killing my grass. Mean time I *** both companies a lot of money the insurance company send me for this job, plus the estimate funds for repairs. In my 81 years I have not seen anything like this. We kept calling, neither company returns our calls. After a certain amount of time their money will have to be used to repair and reinstall our system. From what I can tell everything is well with my roof pretty blue with the one catch that we do not have a copy of the permit or its approval. Questioning if there is a problem I am unaware of.

    Lousy Communication skills. However, they finished the job satisfactory more important than communication. I would recommend their construction skills. But communication needs lots of improvement.

    Jac ************* is a roofing company that was in my neighborhood inspecting roofs for wind damage from a High wind storm my area experienced in April of this year. From their inspection I was told I had a damaged roof and a claim was necessary to my ****************** They said they would not charge anything if my Insurance did not approve a full roof replacement. Then once there was the approval of a full replacement the amount owed would be my deductible. With out my request they proceeded to put a thin tarp on a peak of one of my roof ridges about 2 weeks later after my claim was filed. The roof was denied by my insurance and I contacted them with in the time frame to cancel the agreement with in their contract terms and told them to remove the tarp. A couple of week later a *********************** and associate of JAC builders showed up at my home unannounced saying they still can get an approval, I told them again I canceled their agreement and needed to now pursue this serious matter on my own. They again reassured me I was under no obligation to owe them any money because they roof was not being replaced by the insurance company. Then a little over a month later I had to remove the thin tarp they abandoned on my roof that was now spreading debris all over my yard and neighbors yards. I was forced to get on my roof and now remove this mess they left for me. 3 days after the Tarp was removed i started get bombarded with calls from *********************** and ******************* of JAC Builders demanding almost 3000 dollars for this tarp they left on my house roof. I asked them politely to stop calling but they kept calling over 6 phone calls and 2 emails in 1 and half days.

    JAC roofing abandoned the job and left one of our buildings with only paper and no t properly sealed, we are currently looking for a contractor to complete the job and protect our buildings an get them properly insured. Currently one of our buildings is at risk without a permanent roof.

    This contractor stole $477,000, stripped off our roof, has not completed 80% of the job, and has not returned our phone calls in 2 months.

    Hi JAC roofing was at the building *************************************** on 2/26/24. They were there doing work on the roof for the building I live at. The roofers negligently threw an enormous amount of tacks, nails, and debris from the roof onto the private parking lot, causing severe damage to my tires. I have been trying to reach the business since then, by phone at ************ and also by email to ***************************************** as well as ********************* No one ever answers the phone, message, emails, etc. I have the pictures to prove. They did not bother to clean up this debris before causing undue damage to my tire and are now ignoring my repeated calls and emails regarding the matter. The *** where I reside, ***************************** has also been trying to reach them to no avail. I would like to be reimbursed $507.60 in damages.

    Initially my complaint was that ****************** had disappeared with the money paid to redo my roof, but then after he disappeared I got the documents he submitted to the permit department *************, this is when I found out all the paperwork was not in accordance with our agreement and was also falsified.Complaint summary:1. ********************************** promised to redo my roof by Aug 14, 2022 I paid a permit cost $1,600, because of errors in his submission the permit was not approved until October 2022. 2. I paid ****************** a total of $10,080 deposit for materials, when he showed me the permit was approved He then disappeared for several weeks claiming he was unable to find my HOA approved shingles. Then stated Dec. 14 he was delivering a dumpster to start. Then disappeared again at which point I got the submitted documents from the permit department.3. He submitted a FALSIFIED contract and other incorrect documents to the ********** of ***** 4. On the documents he removed the flat part of the roof that was part of his quoted cost 5. He FORGED my signature on documents meant for me to sign and also got it notarized (by possibly a family member *******************************)My complaint is Theft ($11,680) and Fraud (signature).6. ** January I again requested ****************** refund my deposit then after no response reported him to the **** he then showed up Feb 11, 2023 unannounced and stripped the roof and tar paper and then disappeared till this date, April 18 writing this report. 7. He claimed to be waiting on the city of ***** to approve the permit for the submitted flat roof, but on checking the city had 4 additional edits that he did not return to fix.8. In the meantime due to heavy storm showers my house now has SEVERE LEAKING and WALLS DESTROYED.Thank you for investigating.     Here is my side back in August we signed the contract and the ************* approved the permit until October, now ******* association only accepts ***** corning silver lining and that shingle was no where to be found there for we had to wait until January when a vendor had it in stock and I went out of my way to go pick it up all the way to *****************. Now the roof is 90 percent done and ***************** me $6,000 and shes looking for all avenues not to pay what she owes so we will be placing a lien on that property until payment is received. This lady is a scammer

    How can I accept someone who forged my signature on documents?

    ****************** change our contract removing the flat roof from our agreement and submitted it to the city of Davie, forging my signature on a new contract and got the paperwork notarized by ******************************* a possible family member. The reason for the permit delay had been his negligence in submitting the required information correctly.  I fired him from the job and reported him to the **** he then hurriedly came to my house to do my roof, thereafter for 2 months he disappeared in the meantime because he stripped the roof where the shingles meet the flat roof he left the stop down exposed with no tarp protection it leaked in the seam and now the room below walls have been damaged and I had to get dry out fans from the ***************************** and I paid $1100 to a contractor to tarp in the middle of the storm after calling ***************** for help and he did not respond. We are also having to pay rent somewhere else because we cannot get insured without a roof.

    I will be taking ***************** to court for the damages and the forgery, especially because he continues to lie about the situation and I have countless text, images and documents as proof of his dishonesty and negligence.

    On September 9 paid $7000 (10%) to start a roof job at my property in ********* **. Crew showed up 2 times for demolition. November is here, and Never presented a permit to the city, no answer calls or text messages.This company is a fraud doing the same to too many people. Want my money back to pay a reputable company that is capable of doing the job.

    The $7,000 was for 4- 4x4 metal post thats were $2,000, $2,300 were for all the wood frame for the new back roof $800 was for the dumpster that was used and ******* filled it up with a bunch of trash he had in his house and the labor was $3,000 which ******* never paid
