I purchased a chain and a pendant on 08/13/2022 from this merchant. They decided to double finance my merchandise through two different bank institutions, Acima LLC and Snap Finance. As per both banks, this should have never been done on a lease to own contract, because it creates a conflict of interest for both banks now that I am trying to return the merchandise as per the terms of the contracts with both financial institutions. I have contacted both banks and the merchat multiple times. Both banks have contacted the merchant in regards to the matter and explained that the contracts are null from day one because double financing on jewelry is not allowed. The merchant agreed to receive the merchandise back in order for both banks to cancel the application and refund back my money. Now, three days later the merchant is refusing to receive the merchandise back and the saga continues. I have all my receipts from this purchase. I paid the merchant $75 cash on the day of the transaction. I have paid Acima LLC $917.34 and Snap Finance $1,046.28. Both banks are on board to cancel the null contracts and refund back all of my money but the merchant refuses to receive the merchandise back after agreeing to do so, because of the error on their end since day one. Both the chain and pendant are in perfect conditions. I have been corteous and very patient with this store. I have spoken with ******* one of the owners in two occasions. I spoke with her on 12/02/22 when she agreed to receive the merchandise back. I called her again today to return the merchandise as she stated and she stated she will not take it back. She said I should speak with the banks because she had nothing to do with any of this. I called both banks again and currently they keep working on this issue but still no resolution.

We are sorry to hear of your confusion and misunderstanding. After a careful review of your file, we have noted that on or about August 13, 2022, you arrived at Midas Jewelry with the intention of purchasing a gold chain and pendant. Once you were advised of the price of such you stated that you did not have enough money to purchase them but insisted on double financing the merchandise in order to secure the desired jewels. Our sales assistant made you well-aware of the risks associated with double financing such merchandise; however, in our notes it seems as though you insisted on proceeding despite all warnings given because you wanted the merchandise immediately. As clearly stated on our receipt, all sales from Midas Jewelry are final and non-refundable. Nonetheless and in order to help you with this matter and to avoid any conflict with your financing companies, Midas Jewelry went out of its way to aid in the financing issue of the merchandise and completely paid off Acima Leasing. Right now you are fully responsible to pay back Midas Jewelry for the debt liquidated to Acima Leasing as well as to continue with the remaining payments to Snap Finance so that you can continue to enjoy your merchandise. We provided a solution to your benefit allowing you to continue enjoying the merchandise desired while you make the necessary arrangements for the repayment. Please contact us for such. Our company prides itself as a transparent business that aims for the utmost quality service and we hope our relationship can continue in the future.
