            Contract proposal of $14,400 for remodel dated 3/20/21. $2,000 deposit was accepted by Jason 4/8/21. Contract stated $2000 deposit and rest to be paid on completion. But we paid a total of $7,800 for labor and materials. Jason was supposed to do all work except plumbing, electrical, and painting. He would start and complete the master bedroom in an estimated three week time. 10 weeks later the bathroom was no where close to being finished. Drywall unfinished, tile work very poor with cracking and pitted grout in shower and bathroom floor. Scratched and cracked tiles. Baseboards on whole house installed poorly with huge gaps. New door casing chopped off at the tops, jagged and uneven and hung too high. He brought in very poor subcontractors. He let a guy we didn't know into our house alone while we were out of town. We came home to a disaster, debri everywhere. Nothing finished. Jason then quit our job. He has $3,300 we paid specifically for supplies for the stairs he won't refund.

            If I could leave less than a one star rating I would. Unfortunately, it will not allow you to leave less than a one star rating. Jason ******* of Apex Construction Group started a remodel on our townhome in the master bathroom which was slated to take three weeks. 10 weeks into the project Jason and his crew left the job, unfinished, broken and messy as well as returned 3,300.00 of materials which we paid for with our own personal check given to him for the next phase of our project, and kept the money. We have tried numerous times negotiate this as well as go through the Better Business Bureau but he refuses to take this seriously. We are also registering a complaint with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. We have sent him a letter letting him know we are doing this with an option to settle this amicably. He has not responded and our next step is to take him to court. Which we are going to do. We have pictures and canceled checks prove all of the terrible workmanship. I would steer far clear of this business.
