After 5 months *** have finally received our replacement handles. We were unable to get service for the other repairs needed until the handles came in. This was saving *** a service call back to our house. The handles came in and service was scheduled for May 22, 2025 to install the handles and finish the job from the initial service date in January. Then guess what, ***** comes and works on the back porch today, then he tells us he doesnt have the handles. The warehouse in ******* sent the wrong thing. Now he said it will be sometime next week. This is the most ridiculous company I have ever worked with. We waited all this time for service with nails hanging out of our outside walls and me tripping over the threshold and the sliding glass doors sticking together only to be told that the main reason the service finally got scheduled was the handles and they wont be taken care of today. I want an adjustment to the bill for the total inconvenience your company has caused us. Ill let you know when we are scheduled for the handle replacement, threshold installation, outside s**** installation and unsticking the glass sliding doors you installed. All this except for the handles has been incomplete from the initial service call in January. This is just a shame. Almost 6 months later and this job is still incomplete. This should have been a wonderful experience but it has turned into a nightmare.

Caution, Buyer Beware FAS Windows and Doors (This format limited my ability to post ALL of the issues)If you are looking for a company to replace windows or doors, you might want to hear about our experience with FAS. We interviewed 5 different companies and narrowed it down to two. We visited their showrooms and choose FAS. We made it clear that we wanted ALL windows inspected and measured again before install. Before installation, I again requested that they be inspected and measured to make sure everything was OK. The original salesman was here on the initial install day to make sure things went smoothly. The crew was about 2 hours late and showed up with about of the windows in a very ***** small landscaping trailer. Before placing the order, we had asked if they could square up two large window areas that had elliptically shaped windows and they agreed for an additional fee, so that they could make that happen. The first crew was NOT the crew that the salesman expected. He had requested another crew for that modification, but they scheduled this crew because the other one was booked for another several weeks. There was NO communication about this change. This resulted in several phone calls, and they finally moved some schedules to get the original team here to make the modifications and install the 2nd set of windows. - The first team did not cover electronics, furniture and other items that became covered in fine dust. - The front door (Brand new and just painted) received about 30 nicks from them going in and out with windows and hitting the door.- The back picture window had to be ordered 3 more times (1st was too small, 2nd had a cracked frame). For all of these they scheduled delivery forcing me to take time off work. Our expectation was 6 days: Actual days = 15 They even put a lien on our home during the discount discussion!Buyer Beware !!!

We apologize that you do not feel you received the service you were expecting. *** strives to provide an excellent customer experience. *** made a commitment that your project would be completed, and the end result would be a beautiful, finished product. We have met this commitment. Unfortunately, with any construction project there can bumps in the road. It appears that not all our standards were followed by our sub-contractor. This has been addressed and *** is working with all contractors to make sure they understand what we expect on our projects. Your project was measured two times once by our sales consultant and again by a measure technician. You requested we inspect windows for size and imperfections prior to arriving at your home. The windows were inspected at our location. Unfortunately, we do not completely unwrap the windows, this is to prevent damage while the product is transported to your home. We review the product and verify that all glass is intact and there is no visible damage. We verified that the sizes on the manufacturer stickers, match our measurements. unfortunately, a window was mislabeled at the manufacturer. This was something that we could not have foreseen. We typically do not put a lien on our customers projects unless the customer is in breach of contract and **** a significant balance after inspection and completion and there is a refusal to pay. Unfortunately, a request of a $5000.00 discount on your project was not reasonable and when *** denied the discount and offered a reasonable discount. A refusal of payment occurred, and *** went forward with a lien to protect the large balance owed. Your payment was due in February, *** did not move forward with the lien process until April. When final payment was made, we immediately provided a lien release. You have a lifetime labor warranty and we hope to continue to prove to you that *** is a company you can rely on.

The replacing of 3 sets of sliding glass doors with French doors, one with sidelites, was completed. In February 2025 the County Code Inspector came out to check that the installation was up to code, prior to the trim installation. Trim installation took place a few days ago, April 18, 2025. The Code Inspector had advised that changes to code are made known to the building industry 18 months prior to going into effect. This information is perturbing. December 31, 2023, two weeks prior to my order going into be manufactured, a new code went into effect which requires high-impact glass for installations within 1 mile of a large body of water. I am 3/4 of a mile away from a very large lake. July 2023 ********** had offered a 10% promotion. I ordered 3 sets of replacement French doors, one with sidelites, all with high-impact glass, at the quoted, discounted price of $18,000.00. *** contacts me after. Oops, their error, the cost is $38,000, not the quoted $18,000. (Luckily for me) the same setup without high-impact glass would be just $23,555.00. No, management would not be able to do anything about the original quote. I went with the new offer. ******. My order went into manufacture mid-January 2024. The new code went into effect December 31, 2023. February 2024, permit denied. At no cost to me, the *** solution was to drill holes around the perimeter of the doors. I would then install a canvas material to protect the glass during hurricanes. I rejected their solution. The permit was eventually approved. I now suspect a Bait and Switch scheme. I have withheld 10 percent of the price from the final payment, having asked *** to provide documentation showing the discount had been included in the price. As a 67 year old widow, I do not take kindly to being seen as a target.

We apologize for the time it took to complete your project. We would like to address your concerns. The contract was always for non-impact product. You were quoted the initial cost. You then added product. After adding the product, your final contract was written, and this included a 10% discount for being a previous customer. Your contract states the final amount and notes this is with all material and labor including discounts. That final contract amount has never changed since the day you signed the contract. We discovered there were two issues with your project. 1. The added product would not work; due to size constraints and our resolution was to give you and upgraded product at no cost to you. You signed a contract change and it showed $0.00 on the contract change.  2. The code had moved from the 7th edition to the 8th edition and there was wording in the new edition that caused your municipality to require impact product in an area that would not normally qualify. Our resolution was to give you hurricane impact screens at no cost to you. After discussing this with you, you opted not to take the screens. We were in the process of finding another resolution when we were notified that the *************************** was considering reverting back to the wording in the previous edition of the Florida building code which would also allow us to install the windows initially sold to you. This change can be found at: *************************************************************************************************************. The change was announced, and we were able to move forward with your permit and product install. We do understand how this could have given anyone an uneasy feeling and hope that you review the information provided to put your mind at ease. You are a valued return customer, and we truly apologize for this second experience. If you would like to come into our showroom, we can provide documentation of the 10% discount as well as the contract change showing that we provided you the upgraded door at no cost. We hope you continue to trust in *** for your future needs.

Still 100% happy after 10 Years! We purchased an entry system - door, side lights & hardware 10 years ago 2014 - THAT IS WHY THIS REVIEW IS SO IMPORTANT!!They did a great job with installation and we were so pleased with how it turned out. We have thoroughly enjoyed our "new" entry ever since.Twice since then, the most recent being yesterday, the locking mechanism has gotten difficult or squeaky so we called them up to fix it. They did and proudly reminded us of the lifetime warranty. **** came out yesterday and made it work like it was brand new. He was pleasant and professional. When he left he reminded me that if we needed anything to give them a call and they will fix it again. So, after 10 years, it has only had an issue twice, it still looks beautiful and if I have an problem they will come right out an make it good. It doesn't get any better than that!
